The Cultural Exchange Exhibition Room forms the heart of your visit, tracing Japan’s cultural connections with Asia and Europe from the Paleolithic period through the Edo period. Exhibits bring these historical exchanges to life through cultural properties and objects representing different periods and regions.

Alongside the main displays, various events and hands-on exhibitions offer more interactive ways to engage with Japanese history and cultural heritage.
-
A highlight of the visit is the Super Hi-Vision Theater, where you can watch ultrahigh-definition 8K videos on a massive 320-inch screen. The screenings explore Japanese history and the country’s cultural exchanges with other parts of the world, combining detailed visuals with an immersive viewing experience.
