Qasr Al Watan was magnificent and awe inspiring. There is a sense of peace there. The Presidential gifts, calligraphy and books, were amazing. The design and artisanship are incredible. We loved the Palace in Motion light show, it was exceptional, breathtaking, and definitely worth seeing for the extra 25 AED. The National Aquarium is absolutely phenomenal, it's a must see. We are going to buy an annual pass. It's not just an aquarium - there are reptiles (snakes, frogs, chameleons etc), birds, turtles and tortoises ... it's the best aquarium we have experienced. The coral habitats in the exhibits are mind blowing as well. We were in a state of wonderment the entire time.

One of the most magnificent structures I have ever seen. The scale is truly breathtaking, and the architecture is absolutely mesmerizing — you want to admire every detail over and over again. This place leaves a powerful impression and stays in your memory for a long time. I highly recommend staying for the light show, which starts at 7:30 PM — at that moment, the building seems to come alive, almost moving and transforming into something magical. The atmosphere is simply captivating! I suggest planning your visit for the evening and bringing a light jacket — it can get quite cool in April, especially after sunset.

Wir hatten zwei Stunden für den Besuch des Sultanspalastes eingeplant, sind aber dann vier Stunden geblieben. So viel Schönheit, Harmonie und Kunstvolles haben wir bisher sonst noch nirgends gefunden. Der Palast ist wundervoll und hat all unsere Erwartungen weit übertroffen.

Planning of entry is meticulous. So touching considering physically challenged . Well chairs are provided. Then assisted by drivers to fold them and then providing them again. Inside the palace the name plates, directions, a short introduction and briefing of the photographs as well as the events ensures the visitor belonging and ensuring a rewarding experience

Die Besichtigung des Präsidentenpalasts in Abu Dhabi war besonders beeindruckend, weil sie weit über eine klassische Sehenswürdigkeit hinausging. Schon beim Betreten fällt die enorme Größe und architektonische Präzision auf: alles wirkt bis ins kleinste Detail durchdacht, symmetrisch und von außergewöhnlicher Eleganz. Der Einsatz von Marmor, Goldakzenten und kunstvollen Mustern vermittelt ein starkes Gefühl von Reichtum, ohne dabei überladen zu wirken. Besonders war auch die Atmosphäre im Inneren. Trotz der monumentalen Dimensionen strahlt der Palast Ruhe und Würde aus. Die großen Hallen und Kuppeln vermitteln eindrucksvoll, welche Bedeutung Tradition, Gastfreundschaft und Staatsführung in den Vereinigten Arabischen Emiraten haben. Die Ausstellungen und Informationen gaben zudem spannende Einblicke in Geschichte, Politik und kulturelle Werte des Landes, was den Besuch nicht nur visuell, sondern auch inhaltlich bereichernd machte. Insgesamt war die Besichtigung ein einzigartiges Erlebnis, weil sie Architektur, Kultur und politische Symbolik miteinander verbindet. Man verlässt den Palast mit einem tieferen Verständnis für das Land und einem bleibenden Eindruck von Größe, Stolz und kultureller Identität.

It also holds the record for the world’s fastest rollercoaster. There's also the Flying Aces, where you can feel your pulse race as you twist and turn upside down - this is the rollercoaster with the highest loop on the planet. Qasr Al Watan

Nestled in Abu Dhabi, Qasr Al Watan is a presidential palace that was recently opened to the public. One of the finest examples of Arabic architecture and craftsmanship, the palace's design signifies its heritage and its future vision. The palace has its own library with books on a wide range of subjects including archeology, history, heritage, memoirs, biographies, human and social sciences, statistics, administration, culture, literature, arts, etc.

It also has its own gift shops; one at the Visitors Center and the other at the palace building. One of the major attractions of the palace is its light and sound show, which depicts the history and growth of the UAE as a nation. This show has been divided into three acts; past, present, and future.

What's not allowed

Ferrari World Abu Dhabi

Note: Outside food and beverages, ice coolers, cold boxes, glass items, and potentially hazardous items (i.e. weapons, knives, etc.) are not allowed inside the parks.

Baby changing and feeding facilities are available on the Plaza and Mezzanine levels for AED 50.

Strollers are available for rent from the Stroller Rental Counter at the Plaza level entrance area for AED 40.
