This was our first time in Ireland and in preparation for the trip; I did read more about its history and the people. However, I was quite surprised to see how much I didn't know . The EPIC Museum was not only informative and interesting, but quite moving as well. I believe I read every letter and entry of the people that had left the country during such a difficult time. The Irish are a resilient, strong and innovative, loving people that continue being so, moving forward in spite of the hardships their predecessors faced. I was surprised to learn that some of our greatest scientists, artists, and novelists were Irish. They have indeed , touched practically every nation. I'm from Chile, and one of our dearest Founding Fathers was General Bernardo O'Higgins who helped Chile gain its independence from Spain. The museum beautifully captures the spirit of the Irish , although extremely difficult to fathom how they lived under such barbaric rules and conditions. Hopefully, I will return to Ireland and again visit the EPIC museum, I'm sure to be moved and learn something new. Thank you for the opportunity to share my experience .

A fun, knowledgeable chap gave us the history of the Jameson company and how it evolved. A flight of 3 of Jameson's whiskeys allowed everyone to compare the taste and mouthfeel of 3 of its flagship products. A fun hour or two, which also included a grog!

My guests are from Canada and at the EPIC they 'saw' their parents leaving Ireland by boat in the 1950's. A journey filled with hope and courage. My guests were really moved by the whole experience and have bowed to return.

After being on my ToDo list for a long time, my wife and I did the Epic tour with my adult son who was home from Canada for a holiday. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour which is a great mix of audio, visual and tactile displays. It really emphasised what it means to be Irish and what our forbears went through. It is a culturally significant tour. My son returned to Canada singing its praises as a proud Irish man. 5 star tour, highly recommended

Perfect tour, with superb Driver/Guide. Especially the irish humor was one of the highlights. Naturally, their knowledge of the city—as evidenced by the stories they shared—was excellent. Unfortunately, due to a physical issue, we couldn't visit the highlights, so we were limited to the bus tour, but that certainly made an impression. We will definitely be back. Thanks !

EPIC Museum operates daily from 10am – 6.45pm, with final entry between 4:30–5pm.

Closed from 24th to 26th December (inclusive).

Plan around 90 minutes to complete the self-guided experience.

Most standard tickets include a free return visit within 10 days.

Genealogy consultations are available both in person and online.

Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Infants aged 5 and under enter free of charge.

DoDublin Hop-on Hop-off Bus Tour

One child under 15 travels free with each adult ticket; additional children require a paid ticket, and children aged 15+ require a student ticket. Free-child passengers do not require a ticket.

Maximum of 8 child tickets per booking (including free tickets). Any additional children must hold a student ticket.

Ask your driver for a free ticket to The Little Museum of Dublin.

From the first departure, every hourly bus includes a live English-guided tour. Every second bus offers a multilingual audio service in German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Chinese, Russian, and Irish.

The German live tour runs on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays during high season only.

The Docklands Tour operates in English only with a live guide and runs with just two departures in low season.
