Luna was an incredible guide! She arrived early and even gave us time to shop while waiting for the rest of the group to gather. Her history lesson was fascinating and packed with fun facts; despite our exhaustion, her engaging storytelling kept us completely hooked. The meetup spot was easy to find, and thanks to her clear directions, we bypassed the confusing lines entirely. We’ll definitely book through Headout again and hope our next guide is as exceptional as Luna.

I joined the tour of Eifel Tower with my 9yo daughter. Our tour guide Mathis proved to be quite knowledgeable about every possible question about the history and engineering of the building. Instructions were calm and clear and the whole tour was smooth and enjoyable at all times. I had enough time to translate everything important to my daughter and we would recommend the event to everyone traveling Paris. Cheers

Fantastisk guide som heter Monica som berättade utförligt om Eiffeltornet. Vi möttes först upp på en plats en bit ifrån Eiffeltornet så Monica fotograferade de som ville med Eiffeltornet som bakgrund. Hon guidade oss proffesionellt upp till våning två sedan fick vi åka själva upp till toppen. Vi är jättenöjda med hela turen och nöjdast över Monicas berättelse om Eiffeltornet och hur det kom till.

Ce fut une expérience incroyable. Notre guide, Monica, était parfaite : elle nous a donné de nombreuses informations intéressantes et nous a fait découvrir des endroits et des paysages magnifiques. Le seul bémol, c’est que pour ce prix, l’entrée prioritaire n’est plus incluse. Il y avait peu de monde aujourd’hui, mais en haute saison, les files d’attente doivent être interminables.

La entrada a la torre fue muy expedita, y mientras te acercas y esperas los ascensores la guía cuenta varios datos importantes sobre la construcción y l historia general de la torre. La guía sube hasta el segundo nivel con el grupo, luego la subida al mirador del 3er nivel es sin guía pero no se debe lagar nada adicional.

Unsere Reiseleiterin war sehr fürsorglich und hat die Gruppe immer im Blick gehabt und gut geleitet. Schade ist, dass man für eine Eifelturm Tour leider einen Dritt-Anbieter braucht. Der Treffpunkt war nämlich ungefähr 1 km vom Eiffelturm entfernt. So hat der ganze Prozess einfach länger gedauert.

Our guide Ricardo was terrific. Personable, funny, knowledgeable and, most importantly, able to navigate our group of 16 through the crowds and 2 security check points. He gave us some pointers on the 2nd floor and then left the group. He did tell us early on that he had been informed that the ascent to the top was not possible due to technical difficulties - he had no control over that. We were also told we could get a partial refund since we couldn't go to the top. We'll see. Reality is, the second floor will give you all the views of Paris you need/want.

The visit to the Eiffel Tower and its panoramic views is truly breathtaking, especially with the city’s architecture spread out below. There were a few more people than expected, but the sight of the illuminated Eiffel Tower made it absolutely worth it. The only minor inconvenience was picking up the tickets at a different location than the tower itself. J.K.

Getting started

Meet your guide at the designated meeting point near the Eiffel Tower entrance, where your ID will be checked. After a brief introduction, you’ll be escorted to the correct entrance and proceed through a security check before heading to the elevators.

Completed in 1889 for the World’s Fair, the Eiffel Tower stands 330 meters tall and is celebrated for its iron lattice architecture and panoramic city views. Once the world’s tallest structure, it remains a symbol of Parisian innovation and culture.

What's not allowed

Keep in mind that smoking, large luggage, non-folding buggies/prams, big bags, baby strollers, rollerblades, scooters, skateboards, hoverboards, other large rolling objects (except foldable pushchairs, medical or assistance vehicles for persons with reduced mobility), sharp objects, glass bottles, padlocks, and cans are not allowed on this experience.

The 1st and 2nd floors are wheelchair and pram/stroller accessible.

The summit is not wheelchair or pram/stroller accessible.

Additional information

Each year, the top of the Eiffel Tower closes for maintenance and renovations. It will be closed from 5th January, 2026.

Please note that you will not be able to access the summit on the second floor of the Eiffel Tower.

This tour can accommodate a maximum of 20 people in 1 group.

Expect to stand in line for a security check at entry, which can take between 2 to 4 hours during peak season.

This is an English-guided tour. Some guides may also speak additional languages, primarily French or Spanish, and may offer extra assistance when possible, though this cannot be guaranteed.

The summit of the Eiffel Tower is subject to closures or limited availability due to technical or crowd-related reasons. In case of unplanned closure, a partial refund for the difference between the 2nd and top floor access will be provided.

Waiting times are to be expected for a security check when you enter.
