The Green Tour was really good and all went well. I have to say Mert was an amazing Tour guide, very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. The food at lunchtime is good, way much better. I highly recommend this tour coz it’s really cool to see the beautiful landscapes, history and great guide in this tour.

Derinkuyu Underground City: A fascinating experience. The walk down to the seventh level is a journey in itself and a great workout for your legs. Salime Monastery: An absolutely amazing site. Its unique architecture and landscape genuinely felt like a setting from Star Wars. The Ihlara Valley offered a wonderfully calming walk along the riverbank. For food, the fish casserole was excellent, and I highly recommend the tomato dip if you don't mind a bit of spice. Finally, a special thanks to our guide, Hakan, and our driver, Bilal. They were friendly, resourceful and helpful, truly deserve a 5-star rating.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This place has such an amazing view both from the bedroom patio and living room. Top of a hill over looking the harbor. Equipt with an either kitchen of cook ware. washing machine. Soap in the shower. Its very close to the center of Bodrum where everything you need you will find from tours , restaurants ect with in a 15 min walk. I cant wait to go back! The same was super friendly and provided the essential knowledge of the town. Parking available included with my room.

What to expect

Derinkuyu Underground City

Reaching over 85 meters deep, Derinkuyu served as a refuge during conflicts and religious persecution. Its intricate network of tunnels, rooms, and secret passages showcases centuries of ingenious engineering.

Secret passageways: Traverse narrow tunnels connecting kitchens, storage areas, living quarters, and worship spaces.

Missionary school and church: Visit religious chambers where early Christian communities practiced their faith.

Smoking is prohibited throughout the site.

Only about 10 percent of the underground city is open to visitors.

The site is not suitable for those who are claustrophobic or have limited mobility.
