La nostra guida Romeo è stato un accompagnatore fantastico! Ci ha guidato e spiegato tutto il tempo ed è stato un piacere ascoltarlo. Ci ha anche consigliato un ristorante buonissimo. Per lui 5 stelle! Peccato che il viaggio nel minivan sia stato molto scomodo, e la guida dell'autista da voltastomaco oltre che molto rischiosa.

The audio guide on the bus was very informative, the actual guide Roxana was very friendly and knew lots of extra facts. It was good to have stops at the petrol station to stretch your legs after lots ot time on the bus. We would've liked a little more time in all of the places to take in the absolute beauty of the castles and city but its understandable as its a long day already. Definitely recommend this tour to anyone, we loved it.

Buy your tickets on the spot to enjoy a tour of this intriguing castle filled with dimly lit stairways, secret passages behind fireplaces, and ornate furniture once owned by royalty.

A walk through Brasov

Before heading back to Bucharest, you'll enjoy some spare time in Brasov, a medieval Romanian city. A short walking tour through the Old Town is a must, where you'll learn about the Saxons in Transylvania, gaze at well-preserved old-time architecture, notice iconic city landmarks like the Black Church, and discover famous streets like the Rope Street, Europe's second narrowest street.

This tour is not suitable for children under 7 years of age.

The tour may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility due to walking and uneven surfaces at the sites.

Additional information

Peles Castle is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays; on these days, only the exterior and gardens are visited, and more time will be spent in Brasov.

The order of site visits may vary depending on the season, weather, and opening hours.

During official holidays and weekends, traffic may be heavier and the return to Bucharest may be later than scheduled (around 9pm–10pm).

Peles Castle will be closed for general cleaning and preventive conservation from Nov 3 to Dec 2, 2025. During this period, visitors will have the opportunity to visit Pelisor Castle instead.
