With some feelings of I trepidation I presented myself for an interesting experience. The staff were fantastic- calm, informative and engaged. We entered our "cage" and lowered into the water. Daly the 5.1m, 800kg crocodile slowly swam to us, calmly checking us out. He stayed next to us all the time, watching us! Of course he knew there would be a reward! At the end of the session he was fed, another amazing experience. Loved it!!

Lots of fun. Safe. Close to the Croc. Great customer service at the venue They let me visit the day before the actual experience That way, on the day of the experience, I could leave right after the event and go do something else that day !

An absolutely unforgettable experience! My partner was extremely nervous and anxious beforehand and barely slept the night before, but the instructor was incredible. He was calm, reassuring, and explained everything so clearly that her fears completely eased. The entire process was smooth and professionally run from start to finish. Stepping into the Cage of Death and coming face-to-face with a massive saltwater crocodile was simply mind-blowing. Seeing such a powerful prehistoric creature so close is something you may never experience anywhere else in your lifetime. Thrilling, safe, and truly once-in-a-lifetime. Highly recommended!

My Crocosaurus Cove and Cage of Death Experience was absolutely brilliant. The staff are super friendly, very informative and do a wonderful job. I was in absolute awe in The Cage of Death experience. To be that close with such an amazing, huge powerful animal and be able to observe him just doing his thing was very special.

The wonders of the Cove

Beyond the Cage of Death, Crocosaurus Cove offers a wealth of experiences. Swim with crocs, fish for them, or hold a baby saltwater crocodile. Marvel at the 200,000-liter freshwater aquarium housing barramundi, archer fish, and whiprays. Discover 70 reptile species in the Reptile House and visit turtles in the Top End Turtle Billabong. It's the perfect start to your Northern Territory adventure.

What's not allowed

Safety is a priority so the Cage of Death experience is restricted for guests under the age of 15 years.

Accessibility

For the Cage of Death experience, guests must be able to get themselves up and down a ladder, and must be physically able to pull on the safety brake if required.

Additional information

Wrist passes can be obtained at the ticket desk if you wish to come and go throughout the day.

Guests aged between 15 and 17 years must be accompanied by an adult over 18 years for the Cage of Death experience.

Guests are required to sign an indemnity release form from Crocosaurus Cove prior to the dive time. Guests aged between 15 and 17 year must have parental consent and indemnity signed by a parent.
