Since I arrived at the museum I knew it would be a great experience. Line was fast, staff was so nice. I travel all over from Mexico cause my aunt dream was visit Egypt and the GEM; she was so happy too, we spent 5:30hrs hours admiring everything, she was so delighted. I wish we've stayed a little bit more to admire every single detail, it was so enjoyable. She was so happy at the end of the day. Thanks for this amazing experience. I hope to come back soon.

Il Museo Egizio (vecchio Museo) è molto bello con il suo fascino antico ed è ancora pieno di tesori bellissimi che rappresentano tutto il periodo storico dei Faraoni. Mio figlio ha insistito per andarci perché riprende tutto ciò che si studia alla scuola primaria. È assolutamente da non perdere insieme alle Piramidi e GEM. Molto comodo ricevere i biglietti online. Non è presente il Wifi per chi ne avesse bisogno.

I enjoyed really much the tour to the musem. It was really big and you need 3-4 hours to see everything with details. I bought the tickets to headout and the price was really good. Everyone should go there once.

I biglietti salta fila per queste due esperienze sono praticamente inutili a mio parere. Nel museo non c'è fila all'entrata e per la piramide la fila va fatta comunque. A parte questo, il museo è davveto bellissimo e merita sicuramente di essere visitato. Per l'entrata nella piramide io ho scelto la grande piramide (khufu) ma dopo un arduo percorso si arriva semplicemente in una "stanza" vuota, quindi se dovessi scegliere di nuovo, opterei per le altre due piramidi.

Accessibility: This experience is wheelchair and pram/stroller accessible.

Additional information

To participate in the Discovery Challenge, participants must have a smartphone to play. Children under 12 years need to be accompanied by a guest above 16 years.

The Discovery Challenge takes place daily at 12pm, 2pm, and 4pm, with an additional slot on Saturdays and Wednesdays at 6pm. The starting point is at the information desk in the Grand Hall.

Regular hours (except Saturday and Wednesday): The GEM Complex is open from 8:30am to 7pm, Galleries from 9am to 6pm, with last entry at 5pm.

Saturday and Wednesday: The GEM Complex operates from 8:30am to 10pm, Galleries from 9am to 9pm, with last entry at 8pm.
