This experience transports you to the heart of Vienna's golden age, celebrating the 200th birthday of Johann Strauss, the Waltz King. Your evening begins with a delicious 4-course Austrian meal. Hear fascinating anecdotes from a charming host who brings Vienna's musical heritage to life. Did you know Johann Strauss II was known to be a gourmand? He would frequent Vienna's cafes and indulge in pastries between composing his waltzes. Savor classic dishes like fluffy potato dumplings with browned butter, and a side of sauerkraut. Expect to hear Voices of Spring with its bird-like calls in the orchestration and Schwipslied, a lighthearted piece about a woman who's had a bit too much wine! Talented dancers of the Vienna Royal Ballet bring to life original pieces created specifically for the show by choreographer Annkathrin Dehn.
