I loved how many options were available with the Salzburg card. We were able to make the most of our weekend by getting the 48 hour pass. We started with Dom Quartier, then went to Mozart's birthplace, a river cruise, the catabombs of St Peter's Abby, and we were even able to visit the Toy Museum with our son as part of the pass. Overall it was a great value for the price we paid, as it was cheaper than purchasing admission to each attraction individually. We could have seen even more if we didn't have a toddler who needed to be put down for a midday nap.

Es war einfach nur genial! Danke der Salzburg-Card könnten wir zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten kommen. Es ist ein sehr gut ausgebautes Verkehrsnetz mit den Bussen. Nie lange Wartezeiten. Ebenfalls genial, dass soooooo viele Attraktionen umsonst zu besuchen waren. Mozarts-Häuser, Schifffahrt, Untersbergbahn, Schloss Hellbrunn und die Wasserspiele, Domquartier und Festung Hohensalzburg. Wenn wir mehr Tage gehabt hätten , wären noch weitere Sehenswürdigkeiten dazu gekommen. Die Card ist ein unbedingtes MUSS und eine tolle Idee!!!!

The Salzburg card was amazing but I expected to have it on my phone digitally. Instead I had to cross the city to pick it up. It was not the experience I had expected. The card is good for so many places and pays off quickly if you want to do a lot.

The Salzburg Card is a must for visitors. It paid for itself in no time. We bought the 48hr card for 45 euros, and used it for free access to 7 different places, including the Untersbergbahn cable car, which is 34 euros itself. We also used it for a number of buses, so all in all it was absolutely brilliant value.

Getting started

After booking, you’ll receive a pass/voucher that you can print or show on your phone. Redeem it with a valid photo ID at Tourist Information Center Mozartplatz or Salzburg Main Station to collect your physical Salzburg Card. The card activates on your first visit and stays valid for 24, 48, or 72 hours, depending on your selection.
