Very surprising immersive experience of wine culture around the world and in France. The tour is carefully designed with a brilliant way to use storytelling at its highest and purest form. Follow your own path to discover or rediscover this intricate culture that is all about wine. A real pleasure to have been there. A true immersive experience that doesn't feel pushed. We were there on a Friday, just before noon. We asked for bracelets to go eat something in the Halles, across the street, and came back to finish the self-guided tour. A really cool experience that I would recommend to anyone passing by this beautiful city.

La réservation par headout est aisée et rapide, l'accès à la cité du vin en est facilité. Le musée est incroyable, pour le néophite comme pour le connaisseur. Très interactif il permet tout à chacun de découvrir de façon ludique l'ensemble du domaine de la vigne et du vin, exceptionnel ! L'option dégustation avec vue panoramique sur la ville est véritablement un plus.

Truly fascinating museum. We spent close to 4 hours in the permanent collection. We learned a lot in this technologically adept site. All staff were helpful and friendly. This truly is a beautiful museum.

Very clever, interactive and a classy wine museum. I'm not keen on all this interactive technicality and am a bit old fashioned in my approach to viewing exhibitions however I actually enjoyed the way this museum presented information and the ease of using the technology which actually worked!!

Tasting at the Belvedere

Wrap up your self-guided tour at the Belvedere, located on the 8th floor, 35 meters above ground. From here, take in a 360° panoramic view of Bordeaux and its surroundings. After soaking in the stunning vistas, indulge in local specialties from Bordeaux and beyond, as you reflect on the rich knowledge and cultural insights you’ve gained during your visit.

The entire building is accessible to guests with reduced mobility, visual and hearing impairments, and intellectual disabilities.

This experience may include tasting sessions of regional blends. Availability is subject to age restrictions and local laws. Please carry valid ID and drink responsibly.

Note: This ticket lets you skip the ticket counter, but you will still need to wait in the regular entrance line.

Operating Hours

It's advised to preferably visit the museum in the morning to make the most of your visit. This self-guided tour takes approximately 1 to 3 hours to complete.

Visitors can have real-time access to the occupancy rate of the Permanent Exhibition on the Affluences website or through the Affluences application, which can be downloaded for free on the Apple Store or Google Play. This application will also provide you with the predicted occupancy rate for the upcoming hours.

Closes on 24 Dec at 4pm and closed for visits on 25 Dec.

Your voucher will be emailed to you shortly.

Display the voucher on your mobile phone with a valid photo ID at the attraction.

Please arrive at the attraction 15 minutes before the scheduled time of your visit to avoid any delays.
