The London Eye experience was absolutely amazing! 😍 Getting to see London from above was such a beautiful experience, with breathtaking views of the city and its iconic landmarks. The ride was smooth, relaxing, and gave me a whole new appreciation for London’s beauty. It’s one of those experiences that makes you pause, take it all in, and appreciate the moment. Definitely worth it and an experience I would recommend to anyone visiting London! 🇬🇧🎡✨

’m afraid of heights and was really nervous about getting on the London Eye, but to my surprise, it was very steady. And the speed was just right for taking in the views and snapping plenty of photos. So I was able to take in the whole of London. The weather was lovely that day – the sky was blue – so it was a wonderful experience. I was with a friend whom I was meeting again after more than 30 years apart, but I’ll be back at the London Eye with my husband and my two children;

Alles verlief perfekt! Auch ohne Prioritytickets mussten wir nur eine geringe Zeit warten bis es los ging! Wir hatten Glück, dass wir strahlenden Sonnenschein hatten und dadurch die riesigen Ausmaße Londons überblicken konnten...Die eine Runde reicht völlig aus, um alle Bauwerke bewundern zu können...🌼, man kann diese Ticket- Buchung ohne Einschränkung empfehlen

Our visit was a smooth and easy process. First, just going on the Headout app and finding excursions to do on our trip to England and picking whatever interested us. Immediately getting our tickets though the app was great. Second, actually going to the London Eye and simply scanning the QR code and we're off for the ride! We will definitely use Headout on future trips!

It is well worth it you get an incredible view of the whole of London and fabulous pictures for example Big Ben, Buckingham Palace and the amazing parks will definitely be doing again when i decide to visit it again. My camera roll now has lots of photos from the London eye so be warned you camera will fill up pretty fast as there is much to take pictures of

It was with my favourite person and duch a classic thing to do while in London. The view was reaching the horizon and almost all of London could be seen. We surprisingly met people from our own country and took each others photos, all while enjoying the nice and comfortable ambient the light music was ensuring. Thank you to the London Eye for the special memory we will treasure!

Un moment très spécial suspendu au dessus de Londres qui est pour moi l'une des plus belles villes du monde. Voir des monuments, tels que big ben, le parlement, l'abbaye de Westminster et pleins d'autres, aussi bien permet à London Eye de devenir un lieu fondamental à faire durant le séjour

My friend Paul, who has Acrophobia, always wanted to go on the London Eye. He did VERY well because he felt very safe! It was so roomy and he could walk around the whole pod. It was a lot of fun and really loved the views. Maybe Paul is over his acrophobia???

What to expect

Rising 135 meters above the River Thames, the London Eye has been a fixture of London's skyline since the year 2000. With over 85 million visitors to date, this engineering marvel offers one-of-a-kind panoramic views of the city’s most famed landmarks, made even more magical during the festive season when London becomes a gleaming winter wonderland.

Panoramic capsules: Step into one of 32 state-of-the-art glass pods that provide uninterrupted 360-degree views. Catch sight of Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, St Paul's Cathedral, and more, each dazzling with the glow of holiday decorations.

Christmas lights: Make the most of extended hours until 8:30pm available on select December evenings. Gaze down upon the city’s twinkling streets, festive markets, and lit-up tree displays, creating a scene straight from a Christmas card.

Festive atmosphere: The surrounding Southbank transforms into a holiday haven lined with charming Christmas stalls, warm seasonal food, and joyful carols. The Eye itself glows with special holiday-themed lights, adding to the magic of your ride.

Fast-track entry: Beat the crowds and save up to 60 mins with fast-track access—ideal for those looking to maximise their time and avoid waiting in line.

What’s not allowed

Large bags, suitcases, and oversized luggage are not permitted inside the attraction for security reasons.

Pets are not allowed on this experience.

Alcohol, drugs, and any form of intoxication are strictly prohibited on the premises.

Smoking, including e-cigarettes, is not permitted inside the capsules or on the boarding platform.

Accessibility

The London Eye is wheelchair accessible. Please note that only two wheelchairs are allowed per capsule and a maximum of eight wheelchairs in total are allowed on the London Eye at any one time.

Additional information

Children under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult over 18 at all times.

Infants aged 2 years and under ride free but must still reserve a ticket.

Extended opening hours until 8:30pm are available on select December dates during the Christmas season.
