Hice un crucero por el Danubio y también estuve en las termas Széchenyi. Muy buena experiencia y super recomendable. El crucero fue muy agradable y una bonita forma de ver Budapest desde el agua y las termas vinieron super bien durante la ola de calor que había en Budapest. El circuito de dentro es super largo y nos encantaron las piscinas de agua fría.

Really glad we booked to come here, the bath experience was great. It was quite busy and certain pools we avoided because there were some quite loud groups which disturbed the relaxation element. You could buy food and drink whilst in there which again didn't feel too expensive. I booked tickets a few months ahead of time to avoid missing out but then was disappointed to see the tickets listed at a significantly cheaper rate on the day we attended. I wouldn't have minded if they were just on sale but the price shown pre-sale was still much less than I had purchased our tickets at which felt quite unfair. All in all, I would come back but I'd be a bit more savy about where I bought my tickets and for how much.

The Széchenyi Spa is an amazing spa full of hot pools and different types. 😊 I am a solo male 66yrsold global traveller and loved it and will go back when I am in Budapest again. I love when I experience a relaxing healing place like this to unwind after jet planes and airports to soothe my soul. 🙏 I spent most of the day there, and the price was really good for the experience. The environment has an ancient Roman feel about then. There were many people there but I never felt crowded . A must do if you come to Budapest. 😊 😊

Já na recepção pra pegar a pulseira fomos recebidas com sorriso. Passamos pela lojinha (lindaa) e um rapaz mostrou como localizar nossa cabine e nos indicou o lado correto. Foi a melhor coisa. Deixamos tudo lá:sapato, bolsa, roupa e fomos curtir a piscina!! Adorei o círculo central com correnteza! E os jatos que saem do chão?! Massagem maravilhosa. Amamos

We enjoyed the thermen very much, we went early and it was very quiet. The lockers are super, no waiting line, good adviseur in Head out about what to bring etc. There was a lot of different things to chokes to do; all kind of bath's, steambath's, sauna. Arounders the outside pool there were enough Seats for everyone ... pure relaxatiin!!! Top!

I biglietti mi sono arrivati subito, nessun problema all'ingresso mi hanno dato tutto ciò che era descritto. In questi giorni non era facile trovare posto ma grazie a voi ci siamo riusciti. L'unica pecca negativa non riguarda voi ma il posto: le terme di Szechenyi sono suggestive ma il livello di pulizia è pessimo.

Opened in 1913, Széchenyi Spa is Europe's largest thermal bath complex, famed for its Neo-baroque architecture and healing mineral waters sourced from natural hot springs.

Features

3 outdoor pools: Relax in the thermal pool, swim laps in the swimming pool, or enjoy the experience pool with jets and massaging water features.

15 indoor pools: Choose from pools of varying temperatures, designed to help with relaxation and wellness.

Sauna & steam rooms: Access multiple saunas and steam cabins to detox and enhance your wellness experience.

Locker or private cabin: Store your belongings securely in a locker or opt for a private changing cabin for additional comfort.

Want to save time and avoid entrance crowds during the rush hours? Opt for fast-track entry, available in morning or afternoon time slots, to skip the main queue and gain direct entry to the spa.

What to bring

Bring along your swimsuit, towel, slippers, and a swimming cap for the experience.

It is mandatory to wear slippers throughout the spa area. Swimming caps are required in swimming pools but not in thermal baths.

What's not allowed

Due to venue restrictions, pets cannot tag along for this experience.

This experience is restricted to guests under the age of 14 years.

Accessibility

This experience is not wheelchair or pram/stroller accessible.

Additional Information

On Saturdays, the venue opens at 8:00 AM, so plan your arrival accordingly.

Due to scheduled maintenance, the swimming pool will be closed from April 20 to May 17, 2026.

Renovation work will take place at the entrance stairs from Állatkerti Street between May 4 and July 12, 2026.

The swimming pool side locker room area will be under renovation and converted into a coed locker room between July 29 and August 6, 2026.

The staircase sunbathing area will undergo renovation from August 31 to October 11, 2026.

The women’s thermal section will be closed for renovation from December 7, 2026, through November 2027.

The pools and surrounding areas must be vacated 20 minutes before closing.

Last entry is permitted up to one hour before closing time.

If you select the fast-track entry ticket, make sure to enter the spa before 11am or after 3pm for guaranteed immediate entry.

Your ticket allows one-time entry only and cannot be reused for re-entry.

Your voucher will be emailed to you shortly.

Display the voucher on your mobile phone with a valid photo ID at the starting point.
