We bought an all day ticket and arrived at 9.30am, we didn't wait at all. Our changing room was very clean and the wrist strap secured it for the day. The weather was very warm, clear blue sky, so there were a lot of sun beds out and people 'reserved' with towels. We stayed outside for a few hours then ventured into the pool building. There were saunas, steam rooms and multiple pools of varying temperatures. We had a large chicken roll for lunch which cost around 2500f, coffee and beer was also available. The atmosphere was great, adventure pool was good fun and everyone was friendly. Brilliant value for money, an essential Budapest experience.

An amazing but surreal experience. It is December and the Baths are very busy, people from all over the world are there. But there is space it is calming and although the outside temperature is around 6 degrees the temperature of the waters is hot, beautiful and relaxing. We were there three hours and it flew by. There are baths both insides and outside. There are also steam rooms and saunas. Need to take flip flops and a towel while the changing rooms and lockers work well. Then we discovered the circular fast water which was great fun. The whole experience was memorable and one of the highlights of a fantastic trip to Budapest.

La app de Headout no cargaba nuestras entradas, y en recepción del balneario nos decían que sin el código QR no podríamos acceder. Com única solución, nos decía que llamásemos a Headout. Afortunadamente otra recepcionista lo solucionó. Con el código de reserva llamó, supongo que a Headout y pudimos entrar. Esto no debería suceder, se paga un dineral por las entradas para que no te atiendan correctamente. Si el cliente enseña una reserva con un código, debería ser suficiente para acceder. Por lo demás, la experiencia en las termas fue estupenda.

El Balneario de Budapest es una de esas experiencias que superan cualquier expectativa y se quedan grabadas en la memoria. No es solo un lugar para bañarse, sino un auténtico símbolo cultural de la ciudad, donde historia, arquitectura y bienestar se fusionan de manera impecable. Desde el primer momento, la majestuosidad del edificio impresiona: columnas, cúpulas y detalles clásicos crean un entorno único que invita a la calma y al disfrute pausado. Las aguas termales, ricas en minerales, ofrecen una sensación de relajación profunda que se nota tanto en el cuerpo como en la mente. Cada piscina tiene su propia temperatura y ambiente, permitiendo elegir entre momentos de descanso absoluto o espacios más sociales y animados. El balneario de Széchenyi es uno de los lugares más emblemáticos y agradables de Budapest, y sin duda una experiencia que vale la pena vivir. Sus amplias instalaciones, de estilo neobarroco, impresionan desde el primer momento y crean un ambiente único que combina historia, relajación y diversión. Las piscinas exteriores con agua termal son especialmente destacadas, incluso en invierno, ya que permiten disfrutar de un baño caliente al aire libre. El agua, rica en minerales, ayuda a relajar el cuerpo y aliviar el estrés. Además, el balneario cuenta con varias piscinas interiores, saunas y baños de vapor que ofrecen opciones para todos los gustos. El ambiente es animado pero agradable, ideal tanto para turistas como para locales. En general, Széchenyi está muy bien cuidado, es fácil de recorrer y ofrece una experiencia relajante y memorable, perfecta para desconectar y disfrutar de la cultura termal húngara.

Really enjoyed the day in the spa. It was not crowded at all and we were able to experience both the indoor and outdoor baths easily. We lingered over breakfast so did not arrive until after 11am but were able to walk straight in without any queuing. We spent most of our time outside despite the 4 degree air temperature. It was a glorious day and both my sister and I managed to get sunburnt. Remember to bring your sunscreen even if you are visiting in winter. Would highly recommend and don't stress if you forget your flip flops or towel. There is a shop at the entrance for everything you will need. The cruise was a great way to relax after the baths but one small thing to note is that even though there is a bar to get food and drinks on board if you get up to go someone will take your seat, especially if you arrived early and snagged a good one!

Ingresso alle terme semplice, siamo entrati subito! Spogliatoi un po' arretrati.. tanti armadietti in poco spazio e con solo due panche che non riuscirebbero a contenere tutte le persone. Le terme esterne semplicemente: FAVOLOSE; quelle interne lasciamo un po' a desiderare, non proprio pulite però comunque era fattibile starci meno che in una dove l'acqua era verde e il fondo delle piscina era nero... che dire neanche un piede abbiamo immerso. Le saune erano fantastiche solo un po' troppo affollate. Per le doccia potrebbero mettere magari un doccino come si deve piuttosto che una specie di tubo e via ed anche i phon non erano un granché. Ristorante decisamente troppo caro, pur vero che le porzioni erano oneste però per i prezzi lasciam perdere. Nel resoconto una giornata all'insegna del relax!

What to bring

Bring along your swimsuit, towel, slippers, and a swimming cap for the experience.

It is mandatory to wear slippers throughout the spa area. Swimming caps are required in swimming pools but not in thermal baths.

What's not allowed

Due to venue restrictions, pets cannot tag along for this experience.

This experience is restricted to guests under the age of 14 years.

Accessibility

This experience is not wheelchair or pram/stroller accessible.

Additional Information

Due to autumn maintenance, the outdoor thermal pool will be closed from September 22 to 28, 2025, and the outdoor adventure pool will be unavailable from September 29 to October 5, 2025.

The pool will be closed from October 27 to November 14, 2025.

The pools and surrounding areas must be vacated 20 minutes before closing.

Last entry is permitted up to one hour before closing time.

If you select the fast-track entry ticket, make sure to enter the spa before 11am or after 3pm for guaranteed immediate entry.

Your ticket allows one-time entry only and cannot be reused for re-entry.

Your voucher will be emailed to you instantly.

Display the voucher on your mobile phone with a valid photo ID at the redemption point.
