Visiting Buckingham Palace was an unforgettable experience. The palace is absolutely stunning, with beautiful architecture, and a fascinating history. The State Rooms were magnificent, and every room was filled with incredible artwork and royal treasures. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and well organised, making the visit enjoyable from start to finish. The audio guide was informative and easy to follow, providing interesting insights into the history of the British Royal Family. Everything was well managed, and despite the number of visitors, it never felt overcrowded. I would highly recommend Buckingham Palace to anyone visiting London. It is a truly iconic attraction and well worth the visit.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Buckingham Palace. The whole place is very well secured, so you always feel safe. At the entrance, we picked up the free audio guides, which led us through every room and made the experience even more enjoyable (I highly recommend getting one). What will stay with me the most is the realization that you’re walking on the same floors and looking at the same things that the Queen, the King, and so many other famous people have seen before you. It truly made the visit feel special and unforgettable. Unfortunately you can't take any pictures with your phone.

The tour was superb the staff from the moment we arrived were friendly, courteous, enthusiastic, proud to be helping us and proud to be working at the palace. Visiting inside the palace state rooms was an immense pleasure and seeing where our Royal Family walk/work it was truly an honour. The Art work the designs everything was fabulous if Crown would open more rooms again I will be back for sure. Proud to be British and have our Royal Family (warts and all) what family does not have any? Long may they reign over us 💞

È andato tutto molto bene: abbiamo stampato senza problemi i biglietti al ticket Office, poi ci hanno fatto entrare 10 minuti prima dell'orario della prenotazione. abbiamo dovuto solo fare un po' d'attesa per passare i controlli delle borse: è possibile portare uno zainetto o una borsa che però va tenuta in spalla. Le stanze bellissime, peccato che facesse un po caldo in alcuni momenti. Finita la visita si raggiunge l'uscita con una bella passeggiata all'ombra nei giardini del palazzo. Sicuramente consigliato!

What a spectacular and exquisite place to visit. Loved walking in the path where Queens and kings have walked a Royal children have played. Could hear their giggles running up and down that magnificent staircase. Will be a memory I will hold forever.

State Rooms

Wander through the State Rooms that serve as the official public spaces of the monarch. As you step through each ornately decorated room, your audio guide will share anecdotes and historical facts about the various monarchs who have lived there, the functions of the rooms, and the treasures housed within them.

Westminster walking tour: Choose to begin your experience with a guided walking tour of the Westminster area led by a knowledgeable English-speaking guide. Pass landmarks like St. James’s Palace, wander St. James’s Park (once home to a royal zoo), and stroll along The Mall, the ceremonial road leading up to Buckingham Palace.

What's not allowed

For safety reasons, pushchairs are not permitted in the State Rooms. They must be checked in and reclaimed at the exit. Baby carriers are available for loan.

A one-way system operates along the entire visitor route, so be sure to check out the attractions thoroughly as you won’t be allowed to revisit them.

This tour is not meant for individuals with impaired movement.

The Changing of the Foot Guards ceremony at Buckingham Palace takes place on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday (subject to availability). On Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, there is no Foot Guards ceremony—instead, you'll explore Westminster on a guided walking tour. The Horse Guards may be on parade, but it's not always guaranteed.
