Our driver and tour guide Rick took us on a wonderful tour of the beautiful Bruny Island with local history and local foods, we very much enjoyed both. Bruny is an amazingly beautiful island community. The Lighthouse tour with Brian was also brilliant especially standing atop a building built so well and so long ago and so well cared for. We really loved our day trip to Bruny and the small group tour, and our visits to local cheese, chocolate and whisky venues. The food was excellent, the views stunning and we'd definitely recommend this tour.

This tour was one of the best. Andy (the tour guide) was really knowledgeable about the areas and the history behind them, which made it much more enjoyable. From the start, he engaged the group with anecdotes about the history of the Island and made it a more informative one. Kudos to him! Even though it was a long day trip, it did not seem that long; we had time to explore all parts of the island and other attractions. I would highly recommend this trip; it's even better if you get Andy on yours!

We had a fabulous day tour with you on Bruny Island yesterday. From pick up to drop off the tour ran very smoothly. Rick, our tour guide and driver, was fabulous. His knowledge of Bruny Island being a local was amazing and his commentary was informative and amusing. We would recommend this tour to everyone.

We had an excellent day on Bruny Island. Our driver Andy went above and beyond to maintain an interesting and varied conversation about the points of local interest. The group appreciated his willingness to work through his illness on the day without compromising passengers who were all too willing to manage the good handling etc. The morning tea, bread fridges, tastings of honey and chocolate were all well received and the hotel lunch was exquisite. We could not fault the experience and will recommend it to our various friends who plan to visit Tasmania in the near future.

Rick, our driver and guide was awesome and very informative. The meal, cheese tasting, oysters and chocolate tasting were all very enjoyable. Wayne (I think that was his name?), the guide to the lighthouse was also amazing! We had a group of seven and everyone thourally enjoyed it.

We got phone assistance to find the closest pick up location. The whole day was well organised from start to finish with interesting stops for that Instagram shot. The morning tea of fresh oysters and artisan cheeses was delicious that led into a great lunch at the Bruny island hotel.

Your experience begins with hotel pickup from Hobart, followed by a drive to Kettering and a ferry crossing to Bruny Island. Travel with an English-speaking guide in a small group of up to 20 people, with ferry transfers, national park fees and meals included.

Once on the island, your day combines scenic and wildlife stops, food tastings and a guided visit to Cape Bruny Lighthouse before returning to Hobart in the evening.

Cape Bruny Lighthouse: Visit Cape Bruny Lighthouse and climb its spiral staircase to the historic balcony for panoramic views of Bruny Island’s southern coastline. Lighthouse entry and the guided tour are included.

Local food tastings: Start your food experience with morning tastings of fresh oysters, cheese and freshly baked bread by the beach. Later, sample chocolate and honey before heading back to Hobart.
