Loved this tour! Pickup from the hotel was easy, and our guide was full of interesting info about Borobudur and Buddhist traditions. The sunrise package was totally worth it—such a magical view. Highly recommend if you want the real experience.

From start to finish, the Borobudur Temple tour left me impressed. The driver arrived early at my hotel with water ready, whisked me comfortably through sleepy streets to see the sunrise. Getting started

If you've selected a transfer-inclusive option, your English-speaking driver will pick you up from your hotel in Yogyakarta and take you to Borobudur. Ticket-only sunrise guests should arrive at Manohara Borobudur Cultural Center (Gate 7) for registration. You'll then receive your Borobudur Temple ticket and join a licensed Borobudur Temple guide before entering the complex.
