We visited the Body Worlds Museum in Amsterdam, and it was a unique experience, especially for my nephew, who is studying medicine. It was also very educational for me and helped me understand many things much better. For example, actually seeing what a meniscus looks like made it much easier to understand. Overall, it was a very interesting and memorable experience.

Fascinated by the internal workings of the human body and great to see the way they had been displayed. Special respect for the people who were happy to be used this way, and also the other principle behind the exhibition about happiness and the stress we put on our bodies. Much to learn!

Body Worlds Amsterdam presents The Happiness Project, an immersive exhibition exploring how emotions, lifestyle, and mental well-being affect the human body. Through plastinated specimens, you’ll gain a rare, up-close understanding of anatomy and the science behind overall health.

Important Information

An InBody Health Check costs €35 elsewhere, but at BODY WORLDS Amsterdam, it's included in your ticket.

The exhibition is easily accessible to the disabled. However, the building has several floors, which means that the elevator has to be used.
