What's not allowed

Children under the age of 12 cannot travel alone and must be accompanied by an adult.

There are special seats available for passengers with impaired mobility and cannot leave their wheelchair. You can book this by calling +41 81 288 65 65 or e-mail to railservice@rhb.ch.

Additional information

Children aged 5 and under can travel free of charge without entitlement to their own seat.

Reserved seats will be attributed automatically based on availability.

The ticket has a 24-hour validity from the beginning of the departure date.
