Enjoyed the ride it's very scenic , had already seen some of the trip driving through , got the red train back and to be honest it wasn't bad you can still see a lot through the windows . The only dissappointed bit was st moritz which I found underwhelming apart from the beautiful frozen lake . Had wanted to do st moritz to Chur but don't think I will now .

Everything was perfect, the experience it self was great and worth every penny. Once you have the chance you shall try both the bernina and also the treno rosso. The views were magnificient the nature around is great, the staff in train and other travellers were really nice everything went coool we loved it to book on hedout was also very user friendly and easy, done in tree clicks thanks

Quel voyage merveilleux dans ce train Bernina! Une parenthèse époustouflante! La conception technique du train et le trajet ferroviaire sont exceptionnels. On est transporté au milieu des cîmes alpines enneigées et scintillantes et des lacs aux reflets en miroir. La majesté de la nature nous emporte grâce aux baies panoramiques. Le personnel à bord du train est avenant et de qualité . Il slalome au travers de certains voyageurs excités se levant sans arrêt pour prendre des photos . Chapeau. Un regret : ne pas avoir été côté à côté, comme expressément demandé à mon interlocuteur téléphonique HEADOUT

This was an absolute dream of a trip couldn't have gone better. I would recommend this trip to anyone interested in doing train journeys. Great value for money and amazing views through the Swiss Alps and Italian Alps.A few days in Zurich a few days in Chur, Bernina express to Tirano final stop over, night in Lecco wish we could stay there longer. One to come back to. Great experience

Great experience. Bernina train from St.Moritz to Tirano was spectacular. The views, the Bernina chocolate box, and the staff were unique. Breathtaking views of the white mountains and villages because of the high windows. Best experience ever!

What to bring

Children under the age of 12 cannot travel alone and must be accompanied by an adult.

Accessibility

There are special seats available on the Bernina Express for passengers with impaired mobility who cannot leave their wheelchair. These seats must be booked by calling +41 81 288 65 65 or sending an e-mail to railservice@rhb.ch.

Additional information

Children aged 6 and under can travel free of charge without entitlement to their own seat.

Reserved seats will be attributed automatically based on availability.

Standard-sized luggage is permitted, but space is limited. Travel light for a comfortable experience.

Seat reservation for Bernina Express Bus is mandatory and not included.

The ticket has a 24-hour validity from the beginning of the departure date.
