Der Besuch des Pena Palace und Parks sowie der Quinta da Regaleira war eines der Highlights unserer Portugal-Reise. Der Pena Palace beeindruckt schon von Weitem mit seinen bunten Farben und der außergewöhnlichen Architektur. Von oben hat man einen wunderschönen Blick über Sintra und die Umgebung. Der dazugehörige Park ist sehr groß, gepflegt und lädt zu entspannten Spaziergängen durch die Natur ein. Die Quinta da Regaleira hat uns besonders durch ihre geheimnisvolle Atmosphäre begeistert. Die unterirdischen Tunnel, versteckten Wege und der berühmte Initiationsbrunnen machen den Ort einzigartig. Überall gibt es interessante Details zu entdecken, sodass man sich fast wie in einem Märchen fühlt. Beide Sehenswürdigkeiten sind absolut sehenswert und bieten eine tolle Mischung aus Geschichte, Architektur und Natur. Wer Sintra besucht, sollte sich diese Orte auf keinen Fall entgehen lassen.

To say that Pena Palace & the Moorish Castle are amazing is not hyperbolic. They'll take your breath away (perhaps literally)! If you are in shape, you can easily manage to see both in a single outing. You must have a ticket for both. Just be aware that while you can enter the Moorish site anytime they're open, you will have a specific entry time for Pena. Tickets are non-refundable & cannot be changed. I recommend you buy all three tickets (both plus bus) in advance to ensure you don't spend a lot of time waiting. You can walk from one entrance to the other. Be prepared for a lot of steep walking at both sites. Wear sneakers. Heels, slip-ons, & flip-flops are not safe footwear. If you wear sandals, choose a rugged style. There are neither handrails nor guard rails at either historic place. All that said, both sites are definitely worth the effort!

J’ai vraiment adoré la visite du stade du Benfica ! Que l’on soit passionné de football ou simplement curieux, c’est une expérience à faire. Les guides étaient excellents, accueillants, souriants, disponibles et surtout très intéressants dans leurs explications. On sent qu’ils aiment leur club et ils transmettent cette passion tout au long de la visite. Le stade est impressionnant et le musée est très bien conçu, avec de nombreux trophées, des objets historiques et des espaces interactifs qui rendent la visite encore plus agréable. Tout est bien organisé et on ne voit pas le temps passer. Je repars avec de très beaux souvenirs et je recommande cette visite à tous ceux qui passent par Lisbonne. Merci à toute l’équipe pour ce super moment !

Minha experiência foi incrível, através de toda orientação pelo headout, consegui me organizar e me deslocar da melhor maneira possível até o Parque Nacional da Pena. Assim que chegamos, foi tudo muito fácil e rapido porque já tinhamos os bilhetes. Os Palácios além de belos, me fizeram refletir muito sobre a origem da construção e modo de decoração com as limitações daquela época. O Audioguia nos auxiliou no entendimento e compreensão de cada detalhe, o que tornou a experiência ainda melhor. Estou muito satisfeito, retornarei com a memória rica em experiências e fotografias.

The tour was, frankly speaking, worth it. Despite some organizational problems at the entrance ( it was possible to let in only circa 25 people at one time), the whole visit was very informative and went beyond our expectations. The pictures are taken at the very beginning, you can see them at the end and buy a set for 40 euros only if you want. The tour inludes a VR experience, you are welcome to get to players' room, answer a few questions and see a magnificent panoramic view of the stadium.

The castles Pena and quinta da regaleira were amazing to visit. Pena is a bit more focussed on just the castle. Quinta da regaleira is a whole experience with a beautiful garden to get lost in. It is worth it to walk from train station Cintra towards Pena, amazing walk of like 35min. You can easily walk to Regaleira from Pena as well. And if you dont feel like it the carts pendeling over there are pretty cheap. Anyways worth a visit for sure!!!!

Palácio da Pena Pentru mine, Palácio da Pena este genul de loc care te face să te simți într-un basm. Exteriorul este spectaculos și priveliștile sunt incredibile, dar aglomerația poate să-i ia puțin din farmec. Merită văzut măcar o dată pentru atmosfera unică și pentru poze. Quinta da Regaleira Quinta da Regaleira mi s-a părut mai specială. Nu impresionează prin grandoare, ci prin mister. Tunelurile, grădinile și Puțul Inițiatic te fac să ai senzația că descoperi un secret ascuns. Este unul dintre acele locuri care rămân cu tine și după ce pleci. Dacă ar fi să aleg doar unul, aș reveni la Regaleira. Pena m-a impresionat, dar Regaleira m-a fermecat.

Smooth entry eventhough we ran 30 mins late, not many people there, it felt very special and omg the palace is stunning, out of a fairy tale. Everyone was efficient and friendly. We walked through the park to the palace de contessa, beautiful! And the trees inside the park are magnificent! All in all a wonderful experience!

Money for value the best stadium tour I've done, the architecture of the stadium is very unique, having an added bonus of a vr experience halfway through (which again best vr experience ive ever done) added with the scarf and a magnet included in the price made this a no brainer for a must see

The tickets worked perfectly, and we were given clear instructions on where to go and how to get there. They were however a lot more expensive than on the official site - which we didn't know before booking sadly.

Food and drinks are not allowed inside the premises.

Flash photography is prohibited at the stadium, and especially at the museum. You're only allowed to click pictures for personal use.

Pets are not permitted, except for registered service animals.

Smoking, including e-cigarettes, drinking, and any form of drugs are strictly prohibited within the stadium and museum.

Stepping on the pitch or the grass is not allowed during your tour of the museum.

Pena Palace & Park

Tripods and drones are strictly prohibited.

Pets aren't allowed at the palace, except for guide dogs.

Smoking is strictly prohibited within the premises.

Accessibility

SL Benfica Stadium & Museum

The stadium has wheelchairs available for use at both the stadium & museum, subject to signing a liability waiver.

Elevators at the stadium ensure accessibility across all levels.

The museum has an elevator, ramps, and benches throughout, making it accessible for visitors with reduced mobility.

Pena Palace & Park

Wheelchair access is available in certain areas; however, some parts of the Palace and park may be challenging due to uneven terrain and stairs.

The Pena Palace has two parking spaces for visitors with disabilities. These are located at the park’s main entrance.

You can also get manual wheelchairs with prior reservation at all the park’s entrances.

The palace also has accessible restrooms and an elevator that connects all the floors.

You cannot visit the stadium on match days. Make sure to check the schedule before booking your tickets.

On European soccer match days, stadium visits are also not possible 2 days before and 1 day after the game.

All tickets include a complimentary souvenir scarf.

If you're a person with reduced mobility, you must always have a companion with you, and they can accompany you free of cost.

The guide accompanying you on the tour of the stadium will speak both Portuguese and English.

Portugal residents can enjoy free access to parks and monuments on Sundays and public holidays

Reduced tickets for children aged 6-18 and seniors aged 65 and above are available onsite.

You must enter the Pena Palace at your assigned time slot, as late arrivals may be denied entry.

Please use the house tour entrance instead of the main gate.

The path from the park entrance to Pena Palace takes approximately 30 minutes to walk.

You should anticipate a 15-20 minute wait at the security checkpoint.

Private vehicles are not permitted, so visitors should use pedestrian trails or public transport.
