We love to have snorkelling in 3 different areas and swim with wild marine animals very closely. Also the staffs are very kind and patient with us during the whole trip.

Okay, so we did the Nusa Penida Snorkeling 3 Point tour and I have to say—it kinda blew my mind? Snorkeling at Manta Bay was just EPIC. Saw a manta ray glide right under me (my heart legit stopped for a sec). The boat ride out was a bit bumpy, but our guide kept making jokes and I totally forgot I was nervous. We were a group of friends (4 of us) and honestly, the underwater views were better than most aquariums. Land tour after was great too, tho the roads are suuuuuper rough. Would not recommend for anyone who gets car sick easy. Food was simple, but tasty. Bring snacks if you’re picky. All in all, one of those days that sticks with you for ages.

Family trip—me, husband, 2 kids (11 and 14). The guides were super patient with our youngest who got scared before getting in the water, but they talked her through it. Lots of colorful fish, and we even saw a turtle! The van ride across the island is a bit wild, but kids thought it was fun (like a bumpy theme park ride). Kelingking Beach photos turned out so good. Bring extra sunscreen, sun is no joke there.

If you’re in Bali and skipping Nusa Penida, you’re missing OUT. The water is so blue it looks fake. Our guide, Putra, was the real MVP—he took pics for everyone and showed us the best cliff angles. Manta Bay was a bucket list moment. Be prepared to get up early and maybe skip breakfast (the ferry waits for no one). Would 100% do again.

Snorkeling here is NEXT LEVEL. Went with my partner and we both couldn’t stop talking about the colors underwater. Saw a massive ray (not sure what kind, but it was huge). The island is rugged and the views from the cliffs are the best I’ve seen in Indonesia. Tour was well organized, but don’t expect luxury—it’s more adventure vibes.

What to bring

Bring a change of clothes, sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, swimwear, basic toiletries and some cash.
