The tour was perfectly organised and our guide Rosie gave us a lot of information about the royal family and their life in this historical place. Really impressive and absolutely worth to make this tour through the private apartments. Great experience we will always remember!

Fuimos temprano en la mañana. El ingreso fue muy rápido, el personal organizaba las filas para acceder canjeando la entrada a quienes ya habiamos reservado y pagado y por otro lado a quienes debian realizarlo todo. La audio guía fue muy util. Se ajustaba a lo que veias y daba informacion complementaria. Una visita disfrutable. No se puede sacar fotos en el interior

It was an honor to view Queen Elizabeth's private residence. The private tour was wonderful and, as I've been told, is only available for 100 days under the order of King Charles. The remainder of the tour was audio and well-directed. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of this tour. The Abbey was fantastic too!

Beautiful grounds, audio tour was very informative and easy to follow. Each passage was not too wordy, easy listening. We stayed for longer than expected, so much to see and the walk of the gardens was very inspirational. Stopped for lunch , food was reasonably priced with good choices

Highlight of my visit to Edinburgh! I enjoyed the audio, I learned so much and really enjoyed touring through the palace with all the furnishings and history. The gardens and stroll through the Abby was so beautiful with the proximity to the park, I could have spent days there.

The Holywood palace visit was well organised and all the staff were very helpful. Such a beautiful place! The audio guide was excellent, informative and interesting. Magnified the history of the place for me. Would recommend people to visit. Photography is not allowed inside the palace but the guide is an reasonable price.

Bella visita, con l'audio guida, dove è possibile vedere stanze storiche di rilevante importanza! Speravamo di vedere anche le stanze reali dove abitualmente vivono, ma non era inserito nel biglietto. Purtroppo non posso allegare foto perché sono vietate nel tour all'interno del palazzo.

This experience is wheelchair and pram/stroller accessible, except in some parts of Mary, Queen of Scots' rooms.

Concessionary rates for disabled visitors and a complimentary companion ticket are only available to book directly with Royal Collection Trust.

You may be subject to security checks. Some items may have to be checked in and reclaimed at the end of your visit.

For safety and security reasons, a one-way route operates inside the Palace of Holyroodhouse.

The palace is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Last admission time is 3:15pm.

Under 5s must be booked with a paid ticket.
