It was an honor to view Queen Elizabeth's private residence. The private tour was wonderful and, as I've been told, is only available for 100 days under the order of King Charles. The remainder of the tour was audio and well-directed. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of this tour. The Abbey was fantastic too!

Beautiful grounds, audio tour was very informative and easy to follow. Each passage was not too wordy, easy listening. We stayed for longer than expected, so much to see and the walk of the gardens was very inspirational. Stopped for lunch , food was reasonably priced with good choices

Highlight of my visit to Edinburgh! I enjoyed the audio, I learned so much and really enjoyed touring through the palace with all the furnishings and history. The gardens and stroll through the Abby was so beautiful with the proximity to the park, I could have spent days there.

Queue was fast , the staff at the palace was wonderful, informative and friendly. The palace has audio guides included with the price of the ticket. The grounds are lovely and it was a fun bit of history. Would highly recommend.

Very easy to buy tickets on line, and faster when we arrived at Holyroodhouse, we came in immediately, it was perfect. We'll use "Headout" next time we'll visite Scotland ❤️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

The tour was excellent but it was very confusing to find the meeting point. We wasted 15 minutes and missed the start of the tour. The staff was very friendly but they didn't know where to direct us - I know these extra rooms are new to the tours so need a bit more training perhaps?

This experience is wheelchair and pram/stroller accessible, except in some parts of Mary, Queen of Scots' rooms.

Concessionary rates for disabled visitors and a complimentary companion ticket are only available to book directly with Royal Collection Trust.

You may be subject to security checks. Some items may have to be checked in and reclaimed at the end of your visit.

For safety and security reasons, a one-way route operates inside the Palace of Holyroodhouse.

The palace is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Last admission time is 3:15pm.

Under 5s must be booked with a paid ticket.
