Our Group of 7 had an amazing time on this tour. The Acropolis is breathtaking from all vantage points, but when you hike up and stand at ots base, it is awe inspiring. The history and craftsmanship, alomg with the sheer size of this important piece of history left us all just wowed. Allow yourself alot of time, as there is alot to see and the walk itself is moderate to severe at times. Comfy shoes and lots of sunscree, I recommend an umbrella as the Grecian sun is not to be toyed with. Greeat experience for the money, ad definitely a bucket list worthy place,

La subida es difícil...es un monte, escaleras de mármol...creo q la imaginación sobra. Hacia x lo menos 30/35 grados, lógico y estaba masificado...lógico tambien. Fuera de eso, impresionante. Trasladar lo q has visto en libros o en tele o en clases de historia a algo real...se queda cortisimo. Precioso. A pesar de todo, volvería a ir.

It was great to 'step back in time' and walk where people I had only read about and heard about in history books and films lived and worked. It gave me a much greater appreciation of what it would have been like in there day and how much we have to learn from history.

We booked the 8am time slot and although the lineup was very long it took less than 5 minutes to get in once they opened! Staff was very helpful when I forgot to het the "free" tickets for kids online and printed them out on the spot.

Acropolis & Parthenon

The Acropolis is a stunning Athenian temple complex located on a rocky outcrop above the city. Stop by the ruins of legendary structures like the Propylaea, the entrance to the ancient temple of Parthenon. With your audio guide in 3 languages, wander across the once-sacred halls of Athena Nike and the Erechtheion. The Odeon of Herodes Atticus will leave you in awe. This large amphitheater was built in AD 161 by wealthy Roman Herodes Atticus in memory of his wife Regilla and is still used today for music festivals.

At the Acropolis site, there is no network signal so please download the audio tour before your visit.

Each audio tour stop is geo-located so to listen to all the information provided, you've to wait for the narration to move forward to the next stop. Skip stops by choosing the next or by choosing the one you want from the menu

Visitors are encouraged to use credit cards in all financial transactions in the museum.

It's recommended that you wear comfortable shoes as this experience includes a fair amount of walking.

Bring along your sunglasses, sunscreen, hat, and water bottle.

Restrictions

Acropolis & Parthenon

The following museum services/facilities will no longer be offered to visitors until further notice: Family backpacks, baby strollers, wheelchairs, Reading Lounge on the second floor, and Parent’s Room on the first floor.

Backpacks and large bags must be left in the cloakroom where they will be disinfected using a steam appliance.
