I took an Uber taxi and booked my ticket with Headout in advance. There was a small queue of people who were buying a ticket in the day. Most of the time you will be sitting in the stadium taking in the view and a small but interesting museum. I found that 45mins was enough to get round.

Beautiful aquarium. The entrance was smooth: youre greeted by the personnel who guide you according to the type of ticket you get (theres tickets for only the aquarium, which were the ones we got, but there are other additional places you can visit for an extra, such as the wax museum) Theres tons of different species and key spots to take beautiful photos and videos (such as the colorful jellyfish tank or the piranha tank where you can take a cool 360• pic/vid). The route along the aquarium is siglanised properly. Theres also key information regarding each species on a plaque next to their enclosure.

Hermoso el estadio, mucha emoción de estar en ese lugar. Ingresamos al lugar sin hacer fila, ya que llevábamos la entrada digital comprada en Headout. La gente del estadio muy amable. Todo genial.

Valid ID for all visitors; students, children (6–10 yrs), seniors (60+), and visitors with disabilities must show documents to claim discounts.

Maracanã Stadium

Children under 5 years enter free with valid ID and need to be accompanied by adults.

On match days, the last tour ends 5 hours before stadium gates open; tour routes and access may change due to events.

Parking is available for an additional fee (car/van: R$35, bus: R$45, motorcycle: R$15).

On special event days (e.g., Dec 21–22), access to the pitch is via T4 on the north side only; reserve benches may be restricted. Visitors can access the Maracanã Mais seating area and purchase food and drinks at the restaurant when open.
