It's an incredible place to visit with the family. All varieties of ecosystems and not the usual animals. Takes time if you appreciate the moment and want to learn. It's not only for kids, as I said, the whole family will enjoyed. Very accessible for tourist kike me, use the train, Uber, taxis, all of them know the place. Extrategiacal area with many things to do around.

Beautiful aquarium. The entrance was smooth: youre greeted by the personnel who guide you according to the type of ticket you get (theres tickets for only the aquarium, which were the ones we got, but there are other additional places you can visit for an extra, such as the wax museum) Theres tons of different species and key spots to take beautiful photos and videos (such as the colorful jellyfish tank or the piranha tank where you can take a cool 360• pic/vid). The route along the aquarium is siglanised properly. Theres also key information regarding each species on a plaque next to their enclosure.

Entry includes access to all AquaRio exhibits, the largest marine aquarium in South America.

Meet 10,000+ marine animals from 350+ species, including sharks, rays, turtles, and colorful tropical fish from around the globe.

Discover marine biodiversity through hands-on touch tanks, coral reef displays, and turtle rescue exhibits.

AquaRio stands as the largest marine aquarium in South America, spanning 26,000 m² and holding 4.5 million liters of water. It's your chance to get up close with sharks, rays, turtles, and colorful tropical fish.

What’s not allowed

Food and beverages are not permitted inside the aquarium.

Pets are not allowed, except for registered service animals.

Large bags, suitcases, and oversized luggage are not allowed for security reasons.

Smoking, alcohol, and illegal substances are strictly prohibited on the premises.

The aquarium is wheelchair accessible, with accessible facilities available throughout the venue.
