My mum of age 77 has always wanted to go on the aqua duck for yrs.. we lost my dad in march and I took her away on a road trip. We ened up on the Gold coast and she told me about having the cruise on her bucket list. We went on friday and it was amazing the driver and crew member were spectacular... funny informative and very very friendly We had a ball and had lots of laughs margie and Andy were funny and made our day

I knew th grnsons would have a turn of 'driving' but was stunned that they had such a long time at the wheel and the boat pilot was amazing, both boys sprouted thir newly aquired knowledge of 'markers' and 'hazards' and other facts I cant remember to Mummy when she arroved home in the afternoon A great memory for two little boys to treasure once we arrive home from holiday

I travelled from Melbourne and one of my friend recommended me about Aquaduck. Me and my partner went ro enjoy the Aquaduck and the experience was great. We really enjoyed our time and whole aquaduck team were awesome. I would rate 100/10 for this experience and a must visit for everyone on a holiday trip to Gold coast.

Great tour, staff were very friendly and gave good knowledge. Our Grandson was so excited he got to steer the boat and has showed everyone the photos and mentioned what a great time he had.

Great tour, but we're totally disappointed with headout. When I bought two senior tickets, the site automatically added an adult ticket, which I didn't ask for. Only realized it after I paid. Now nobody wants to take responsibility and refund the money for something I didn't ask. We're two old ladies and don't understand social media, but if I do, I would ask everyone not to buy tours with headout

The capatains wrre such good blokes.so friendly and were tettific with all the kids.it waS just a fun hour. Competant and fun crew.thanks ducky crew .my grandson thought he was the captain🤣🥰👍🐬

Jess was great and highlighted different spots on the tour. The best part was letting the kids have a drive of the duck. Super cool. Plus we were lucky enough to see dolphins! We had a wonderful time and it was a great experience for the kids.

Just a relaxing cruise through town as well as a cruise through the inland waters , crew were very knowledgeable and caring towards our grandchildren journey.

Take the “world’s first” amphibious Aquaduck Safari, which has been running since 1996. Whether you’re short on time or not, this tour shows you the best of the Gold Coast in a jiff. Your journey begins in the heart of Surfers Paradise on Cavill Avenue. You'll board the famous yellow 'Duck' vessel, an amphibious vehicle that's become a true Gold Coast icon. As you set off, you'll get to see the famous 'Surfers Paradise' sign - a great photo opportunity! Take in the breathtaking Pacific Ocean from your standpoint, while picking up facts about the Gold Coast you knew not of. You’ll also see the Southport Yacht Club, Palazzo Versace, and Marina Mirage before you head to the Broadwater.

Kids get to be Captain

The real excitement begins when you reach the Broadwater. Get ready for the famous "splash down" as our Aquaduck seamlessly transitions from land to water. Float about the shimmering waters of the Gold Coast as you enjoy this scenic cruise. Once you're on the water, all children on board will have the opportunity to take the wheel and drive the Aquaduck! The skipper will invite each child to have a turn if they wish. As a memento of their time as captain, each child who drives will receive a personalized Aquaduck Captain's Certificate. It's a great souvenir to take home and show off to friends and family.

Bring along your sunscreen, hat, a bottle of water, and layers for comfortable exploration.

Keep in mind food & beverages (except water) are not allowed on this experience. Pack wisely!

Due to vehicle restrictions, pets cannot tag along for this experience.

This experience is not accessible by wheelchair and pram/strollers.

Your guide dogs are welcome on this experience.

Additional information

Due to safety concerns, the ship's captain may cancel or postpone the tour if the weather becomes excessively wet and windy.

Prams and large bags cannot be stored on the bus or at the booking office.

Children under the age of 16 years must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 and above.

The 5:45pm tour operates in low light conditions. To ensure everyone’s safety, children cannot captain the boat during the twilight trip.
