Visited In February and booked this th day before our visit. Everything worked smoothly, no queues anywhere, it was great. There is no audio guide for either the forum or colosseum but we had an excellent t guide book. Hardest bit was finding the start location at Mamerine prison. Partly due to road works. It's hidden away so leave plenty of time. On arrival there is no sign to direct you to where to exchange your QR tickets for Paper ones. Apart from that, an excellent tour.

448 / 5 000 The monumental buildings, the beautiful view that awaited us gave us eternal memories. Two small negatives are that there is no toilet at the prison where we picked up our tickets, the closest one is in the cafes between the prison and the Colosseum. The other is that it would make it easier to find your way around in the Colosseum if the stations were marked with numbers, because it is more difficult for those who go without a guide to find their way around. The entrance was quick and easy, everything went smoothly.

Vandaag bezocht ik het Colosseum en het Forum. Zodra ik binnenliep, raakte het me meer dan ik had verwacht. De muren, de geur van steen en de stilte tussen al die mensen voelden bijna magisch. In het Colosseum dacht ik aan wat hier ooit is gebeurd, aan de verhalen die in die stenen zitten. En in het Forum, tussen de ruïnes in de zon, voelde ik hoe klein ik eigenlijk ben vergeleken met de tijd. Alles leek even stil te staan.

We looked up online and it said the crowds and queues would take an hour to get through so got there early. Managed to get through the fast moving queue in about 5 minutes. Directions to the Mamertine prison were poor and there wasn't anything to really see there so wouldn't suggest but the coleseum and Palestine hill were amazing with great views.

The building itself was outstanding, breathtaking. However, the glass elevator and the terrace was not that amusing. Definitely not worth paying to get up there, better places and rooftops in Rome to spend money on. It was fine, but definitely not ticket worthy. The building itself from the outside was absolutely beautiful.

Lo fácil de obtener las entradas, pero los audios son muy generales, no son tan especificios, quedando dudas sobre algunos detalles de las diferentes atracciones que hay en los tres lugares. Ya que al ir haciendo el recorrido, quedan algunas cosas esenciales, sin saber de que se tratan, por eso no les pongo excelente.

This was one of the few places that we did not have to queue to enter. We enjoyed the magnificent views from the roof and the cafe allowed a welcome break as well.
