Our Alhambra tour guide, Aitana, was wonderful! For someone who gives the tour twice per day every day, she seemed like she still enjoys her job. Her English was excellent and it was clear from her answers to questions that she has studied history. There were 10 in our group and that seemed like a small enough size that we felt comfortable engaging and talking to her about various points. I had a couple questions before the tour date and Headout was thorough in answering them. We received clear instructions on when and where to meet the guide the day of, although at first it was a little hard to spot the white umbrella on the ground amidst all the people; I would suggest they put the umbrella somewhere more visible from the entrance. The Alhambra itself did not disappoint, it is a true gem of the medieval world. And when they say to bring your passport, they mean it! Security is tighter than the airport! Small backpacks are allowed but you will have to wear it on your front inside the palaces so you don't accidentally touch the walls. And you can bring water but are only allowed to drink it in certain areas. There are also water fountains throughout and drinks available for purchase. Overall, I'm glad we did this tour rather than explore the Alhambra ourselves as we got so much more out of the experience.

Our guide Juan was amazing. His knowledge of the palaces, the architecture, the art, the gardens and the stories of those who lived within the castle walls was truly wonderful. He was a kind, patient and thoughtful guide, a totally wonderful human. A bilingual Granada native, he honestly made our trip to the Alhambra worth the wait. We would not have understood the significance of what we were seeing without him. Thank you Juan.

Alhambra palace was amazing by itself. But the way organizers and specially our tour leader/ Jose managed it was perfect. He was very professional, knowledgeable and very friendly. He respected everyone and took care of everyone in the group. He adjusted well to the pace of his group. Everybody was very grateful for his tour group. Wir hatten Glück mit einer kleinen Gruppe mit 6 Personen . Der Guide José, gebürtig in Granada , ein Kunsthistoriker , machte die 3 Stunden Tour zu einem besonderen Erlebnis. Superbe visite effectuée par notre guide Véronica ! On a vu beaucoup de très belles choses, de beaux jardins et Véronica nous a appris beaucoup ! La visite d'un tel site doit se faire impérativement avec un guide pour éviter de passer à côté d'éléments importants pour la bonne compréhension de l'histoire du pays.

Really enjoyed the Palaces & gardens, very interesting. Only issue was with meeting the guide, many people there and a few guides milling around but they didn't have any info showing as to which guide was for which company they were representing so was a matter of asking each one individually, even then they didn't have a list just the tickets with each persons name on and if that wasn't in their bundle then not with them, could be organised better
