Nous avons eu la chance de visiter l’Acropole de Lindos pendant notre séjour à Rhodes et nous avons vraiment adoré cette expérience ! C’est un endroit magnifique, chargé d’histoire, qui vaut largement le détour. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été impressionnés par la beauté du site, les vestiges antiques et surtout la vue exceptionnelle sur la mer Égée et les petites criques aux eaux turquoise. Le panorama est tout simplement incroyable et permet de prendre de très belles photos. La montée demande un peu d’effort, mais elle en vaut vraiment la peine une fois arrivé au sommet. On découvre un lieu impressionnant, où se mélangent histoire, architecture antique et paysages méditerranéens. C’est très agréable de pouvoir se promener au milieu des ruines et d’imaginer la vie à l’époque. Le contraste entre les pierres anciennes, le bleu de la mer et le village blanc de Lindos rend l’endroit encore plus exceptionnel. Nous avons également beaucoup apprécié le charme du village de Lindos, avec ses petites ruelles blanches, ses boutiques et son ambiance typiquement grecque. La visite de l’Acropole peut facilement être combinée avec une promenade dans le village, ce qui permet de profiter pleinement de cette magnifique destination. C’est une visite que nous recommandons sans hésiter à toute personne qui vient à Rhodes. Que l’on soit passionné d’histoire, amateur de beaux paysages ou simplement à la recherche d’un endroit incontournable à découvrir pendant ses vacances, l’Acropole de Lindos est une véritable pépite. Nous repartons avec de très beaux souvenirs et nous conseillons vivement cette expérience à tous les voyageurs !

The booking was easy and the trip to Lindos Acropolis was a great experience.It is advised to book your trip in advance and try the early or evening booking to avoid the sometimes intense heat

Getting transport from Rhodes Old Town to Lindos was extremely convenient. Recommend that you buy tickets online to avoid what will be long lines at the acropolis. Also, during the summer months try to arrive prior to 10am or after 3pm.

As we looked up towards the Acropolis and noticed the number of people heading there I decided to book tickets online with Headout. I've used them before with great success. When we reached the entrance there was no waiting in line in the sun! The juxtaposition of the medieval Knights of St. John Fortress wrapping the ancient Temple of Athena Lindia is stunning. The views of whitewashed Lindos below are spectacular. Don't miss the ancient warship (trireme) carved into the rock near the staircase entrance!
