It's a great way to get about the city at your own pace. The stops we used were close to the major sites. Our only criticism is that the three different bus companies have very different frequencies and we ended up with what appeared to be the least frequent. It would be really good if all three companies accepted tickets from the others. Failing that the website needs to be clearer about the timetables.

Es begann schon mit einer super Abholung direkt an der Anlegestelle unseres Schiffes. Als wir aus dem Schiff kamen, sahen wir den Bus gerade abfahren. Ein kurzer Anruf des Fahrers des nächsten Busses und der erste Bus fuhr ein paar Meter zurück und wir durften mitfahren. Auch alle Umstiege zu den nächsten Bussen klappte hervorragend. Vielen Dank!

The Acropolis is amazing, a must see. Was great that we also got to see the other wonderous sites around Athens and still managed a few hours on the beautiful beaches. All accessible via the hop-on-hop-off bus. I would highly recommend this, once in a lifetime experience.

Visitare Atene è stata un’esperienza straordinaria! La città è un perfetto equilibrio tra storia antica e vitalità moderna. Ovunque ci si giri, si respira cultura: dal maestoso Partenone che domina l’Acropoli, ai vicoli pittoreschi di Plaka, pieni di taverne accoglienti e profumi mediterranei. Un grande aiuto per godersi al meglio la città sono stati i bus turistici. Li consiglio assolutamente! Sono comodi, puntuali e perfetti per chi vuole esplorare Atene senza stress. Grazie alle varie linee, ho potuto visitare facilmente tutti i punti più importanti: l’Acropoli, il Museo Nazionale, Piazza Syntagma e persino il Pireo, con le sue splendide vedute sul mare. L’audioguida multilingue è chiara e interessante, e racconta la storia della città in modo coinvolgente. Inoltre, il biglietto vale per 24 o 48 ore, quindi si può scendere e risalire quante volte si vuole: ideale per chi vuole scoprire Atene con calma. In poche parole, Atene è una città che ti conquista, e i bus turistici sono il modo migliore per apprezzarla da ogni angolo, senza perdere nulla. Non vedo l’ora di tornarci! 🇬🇷✨
