- Dogs on a leash are allowed at all locations and tour boats except for the catering facilities in the Visitor Center and at Blokweer Museum Mill.

Opening hours vary seasonally, with specific times for boat departures and museum access. Kinderdijk is only open from 9am until 5:30pm between March 1 and November 3 and from 10:30am until 4pm between November 4 and December 31. The last boat departs half an hour before closing time.

The tour boats may occasionally be unable to sail due to adverse weather conditions.

Shuttle buses run daily between 9am and 6pm to and from the entrance of the windmill area.

You can park your car for €9.50 at the Marineweg in Alblasserdam.
