The trip was a very special treat for the family to add on to the summer holidays. Everything went according to plan from easy online booking with Head Out & great email communication at every step with friendly acknowledgments and reminders of the upcoming event. The cruise was amazing on the TSS Earnslaw- great service checking in and boarding. Facilities were fantastic- a really lovely experience with live music to keep us entertained. Scenery on the lake was stunning. All staff friendly welcoming & attentive. BBQ lunch at Walter Peak Station was memorable- amazing selection of delicious well prepared food & staff were fabulous at their jobs adding to the experience . Highly recommend this tour - everything was outstanding

The catamaran ride to the farm and back offered the most stunning views of the mountains around the beautiful Lake Wakatipu. Walter Peak farm offered a sumptious, generous BBQ lunch, served by the friendliest staff. I would never let bad weather stop me from doing such an outing. A real treat! The farm is geared for ALL ages and all weather conditions. The sheep 'show' was most informative. The whole outing was most professionally run.

The cruise was pleasant and the commentary was very good and interesting local information was given (not too much talking!). The BBQ lunch was great, amazing selection of food, friendly staff and the restaurant in a beautiful setting overlooking the lake and a stunning garden. This was followed by a farm show, a man shearing a sheep and a dog showing his skills at rounding up sheep on a hill. Thoroughly recommend this trip.

Lovely afternoon! The steamboat cruise to Walter Peak was a great capture of history. Lunch wa s amazing and really enjoyed the sheep shearing and herding show. The staff were so friendly and professional. A wonderful family outing! Our Altitude driver, James recommended this tour. He was spot on!!!

it was absolutely fantastic, the scenery was beautiful and we had the perfect day. The service and food was just amazing prepared and presented fabulously and so much variety. My husband said it was best he had eaten in New Zealand. .

My wife and I are local, from Cromwell, and thought a trip on the Earnslaw would be a great 91st birthday surprise for my father. We took an afternoon cruise with the meal. It was great. The service getting on board in Queenstown was excellent, with us being allowed to board first due to Dad's walking issues, the day was perfect so a great crossing to Walter Peak and views up the lake. The bbq lunch was extraordinary. The organisation, the food, quality and quantity was awesome. Although I had not been on the Earnslaw, I didn't realise my hadn't been either, so it was a perfect outing for him, in the sun and made easy by your staff, Dad even getting preferential service at lunch. All in all we thought it was a great experience, and although we thought it would be good, it was excellent. Couldn't fault it, well done
