From the instant we stepped inside, it felt like we’d entered another world — one made of light, color, and endless imagination. We wandered through glowing rooms where art moved around us, changed with our touch, and invited us to explore together. Watching her eyes light up as the walls bloomed, the floors shimmered, and the space transformed around us was pure magic. What made it even more special was experiencing it side by side — holding hands, laughing, getting lost (in the best way), and sharing that sense of wonder that reminds you to see the world through a child’s eyes again. Tokyo gave us so many incredible memories, but this one stands out as a beautiful reminder that the best experiences aren’t just about where you go — they’re about who you share them with.

The experience was very cool and the water and light exhibits in the beginning were my favorite. The orchids could have lifted faster. It was very disappointing that there weren't larger lockers or a bag check for larger backpacks and bags, at least not when we asked. My husband almost ruined his backpack trying to get it into one of the tiny lockers and no one would help or accomidate us.

My wife and I chose the 11:30 session. The line was well-controlled, and we quickly entered the complex. The first world that we chose was "water". We took off our shoes and socks - put them in a locker and went into this magical water world. The water itself was warm, and came up to mid-calf. There appeared to be fish swimming in the water, and creatures of all sizes and colors swimming around us. My wife asked me if they were real fish! There were mirrors on the walls so that it seemed like we were in this infinite space with lots of other people - being amazed at the variety of magical light creatures around us. My personal favorite was the world where we lay on the ground and looked up as if in a planetarium. We saw flowers passing ahead instead of stars. That was incredible. I enjoyed the world where we walked on platforms while being surrounded by imaginary creatures, swimming and walking all around us. I would recommend TeamLabs to anyone visiting Tokyo. For us, it took approximately two hours, and it was a very special two hours. We'd go from one magical world to the next with very little delay. Thank you very much to TeamLabs.

Liebes Team, liebe künftigen Besucher, wir waren an einem Donnerstagvormittag im TeamLab Planets in Tokio. Der TimeSlot ab 10 Uhr war vollkommen ausgebucht, war aber von den Menschenmengen soweit immer noch erträglich. Man muss zu unserem Besuch dazu sagen, dass wir eine Woche vorher in Kyoto waren und das dortige TeamLab Borderlands gesehen haben und "leider" einen Vergleich ziehen konnten. Uns persönlich hat das Borderlands mit der deutlich überwiegenden Lichtkunst Gestaltung besser gefallen. Dass mag jammern auf einem hohen Niveau sein, wer noch nie in einem der TeamLabs war, wird aber trotzdem auch über das "Planets" begeistert sein. Wer mit Kindern dort ist, wird den "Athletic Forest" gut finden, für uns als Erwachsene haben wir den Bereich komplett ausgespart. Wir haben gut 90 Minuten im TeamLab Planets verbracht. Dass man einen halben Tag dort verbringen kann, sehe ich persönlich weniger. Ansonsten ist das Konzept natürlich gut durchdacht. Mitarbeiter und Einrichtung sind weiter zu empfehlen.

The VR e-Sports activity is not open for children under the age of 7.

Children between 7 and 13 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

Height restrictions will be strictly enforced for all rides and activities.

Free admission is available for children under 7 years old. However, depending on height (taller than 110cm equivalent to 3.6ft), there is a fee being charged for the attractions. Please purchase a ticket for a child in that case.

Storage areas are available at the venue. Please contact staff on-site for rates.

Re-entry to the venue is permitted. Show your ticket/wristband/stamp upon re-entry at the entrance.

Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a paying adult.

It is recommended to wear clothes that allow you to be knee-deep in water.

You will have to remove your footwear during this experience.

Keep in mind that there will be places where the light is more irritating or dim.

When the hall is busy, the staff will lead the customers to the exit who have stayed in the museum for a long time.

Note: It is strongly advised to wear pants throughout the encounter as an area of the exhibit has a mirror surface. Wearing a skirt or wide-hemmed pants may cause your underwear to reflect on the mirror surface.

The facility is not liable for any participants' injury, loss, or other problems occurring inside the venue.

Lockers for small luggage are available to use and free of charge. Lockers are 26 cm wide, 49.5 cm deep, and 87.5 cm high.

Tickets can only be used on the selected date. You cannot enter without a voucher.
