The experience is very good. Views are spectacular. It was very good organized, but there were a lot of people. Maybe it is better to go earlier (we went at 10:00 am.

I wanted to visit Fansipan. Booking on-line made it more enjoyable as no queuing in line at the ticket office. Just line up at the gate. So thankyou for the convenience of booking on- line.

It's a beautiful place, even more so if you get lucky with the weather. Not sure why you're forced to walk through so many souvenir shops just to exit the place after .

Take the world-record-holding cable car to the Fansipan summit at 3,143m. The cable car helps shorten travel time from 2 days to 15 minutes.

Enjoy stunning views of the Hoang Lien Mountains on the first mountain-climbing train in Vietnam.

It holds the Guinness World Record as the tallest, longest, and most advanced three-wire cable car system in Asia.

Explore cultural attractions and local festivals, such as Flower Panpipe Festival, Spring Opening of Heaven's Gate, Rhododendron Festival, Northwest Cuisine Festival, Ripe Rice Week, Buckwheat Flower Week, and Winter Festival.

Discover Buddhist landmarks such as the Amitabha Buddha Statue, Arhat Road, and Bich Van Zen Monastery. You can also visit other spiritual sites such as Kim Son Bao Thang Tu, La Han Street on the way to Fansipan peak.

Sun World Fansipan Legend: Roof of Indochina

One of the highest mountains in Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia, Fansipan is 3,143 meters tall. Perfect for adventure and nature lovers alike–it has something for everyone. The Sun World Fansipan Legend is a must-visit destination with a modern cable car system. Just outside Sapa town, it offers stunning views and cultural activities.

Choose your Fansipan adventure

Go for a standard cable car ticket for a scenic ride to the summit. Adventure lovers can combine their journey with the Muong Hoa Funicular, passing through beautiful valleys before reaching the cable car station. For a full-day experience, combo tickets include access to cultural attractions, spiritual landmarks, and immersive performances.

Additional Information

Peak Rail is the same as Fanispan Funicular.

Muong Hoa Monorail: 7:45am–2:15pm (Mon–Thu), 3:15pm (Fri), 7:15am–3:15pm (Sat), 2:15pm (Sun)

Cable car: 8am–2:30pm (Mon–Thu), 3:30pm (Fri–Sat), 2:30pm (Sun)

Peak Rail (Fansipan Funicular): 8:30am–3pm (Mon–Thu), 4pm (Fri), 8am–4pm (Sat–Sun)

Children should show a household registration book or birth certificate at the ticket office and ticket control gate.

Children must be between 1m and 1.4m tall to access the kids' buffet.

The buffet is located at Van Sam Restaurant on the M floor and 2nd floor of the departure station (Hoang Lien station).

Both the Muong Hoa Monorail and the Fansipan Peak Rail operate as funicular railways within Sun World Fansipan Legend. The Peak Rail is also called the Fansipan Funicular.

Luggage storage is included.

Sun World Fansipan Legend will be temporarily closed from 21 September 2026 to 27 September 2026 due to scheduled maintenance of the cable car, Muong Hoa Funicular, and Fansipan Funicular systems. The attraction will not be available during this period.
