Getting started

Arrive at the depot at your scheduled time and complete the Railbike participant release of liability and assumption of risk agreement before receiving your boarding passes. After a brief safety orientation with your certified guide, put on a provided sanitized helmet or use your own. Then settle side-by-side on your Railbike and begin pedaling along the historic Skunk railroad route.

What to expect

Daytime Pudding Creek Railbike ride

Pedal through the Pudding Creek corridor during the day, following the historic Skunk railroad route from the coast to Glen Blair Junction. The low-exertion, recumbent ride takes about 30 minutes each way, giving you time to enjoy the Redwoods and surrounding forest at a relaxed pace.

Experience the same historic Pudding Creek route after dark on a Moonlight Railbike ride. Pedal through the Redwoods under the evening sky before stopping at Glen Blair Junction, where the forest setting takes on a quieter nighttime atmosphere.
