Our guide, Ali,and his tour knowledge . He was super helpful. Camel ride was a highlight. Going in a pyramid was a hot, sweaty task - glad I did it but wouldn't always recommend it. We could've done without the gallery experience at the end.

Ticket entry was very easy and quick, we were just not acute enough to deal with the vendors, I would highly recommend taking an option with a guide..

Einlass schnell, unkompliziert. Nicht gefallen hat der Preis, der völlig überteuert war. Auch, dass wir bevor wir in Ägypten angekommen sind, schon eine bewertung abgeben sollten für den Besuch, der wochen später statt fand

Grâce aux billets coupe fil, nous avons pu rentrer facilement sur le site de Gizeh. Nous avons fait une balade en chameau et pu admirer les trois principales pyramides, Kheops, Kephren et Mykerinos. Nous avons grâce au billet coupe fil pu entrer dans la grande pyramide et aller jusqu'à son coeur où se trouve un sarcophage ! La montée dans le boyau a été un peu difficile. Il n'y a qu'un chemin sur les 4/5 de la montée. Les touristes se croisent pour monter et descendre et il fait assez chaud et humide. Cependant, au bout de ces efforts, le fait de se retrouver dans cette pièce chargée d'Histoire et d'histoires est absolument extraordinaire !! Ensuite, à pieds nous avons été rendre hommage au magnifique Sphinx, situé en contrebas des pyramides.

Ho visitato la piramide di Keope da solo! Io e mia moglie siamo arrivati alle 6,30 di mattina all'ingresso principale del sito e alle 7,00 siamo entrati con il nostro autista. Ci siamo diretti con il bus alla piramide ed io sono entrato da solo, unico visitatore...mia moglie soffre di claustrofobia...spettacolo impagabile!

What to bring

Bring your mobile ticket (covers entry to the Giza Complex and interior access to the Great Pyramid).

Bring a hat and sunscreen as the area is mostly open desert.

Students must bring their ID for discounted entry.

Accessibility

The Giza Complex has limited wheelchair access. Some viewpoints near the Sphinx are partially accessible, but the surrounding terrain is sandy and uneven. Pyramid interiors are not wheelchair-accessible.

Photography with mobile phones is free; additional charges may apply for professional cameras.

At the Giza Complex, two pyramids are walkable, but visiting the Pyramid of Menkaure requires a camel, horse, or carriage ride (EGP 500 extra), so bring local cash.

During the holy month of Ramadan (Feb 18 to March 18), operating hours for the Pyramids of Giza are from 8am-4pm.
