Wow, what a DAY! Booked the Petra & Wadi Rum trip on a whim with my cousin and honestly, best decision ever. Our driver, Khaled, was right on time (even early, lol) and had water bottles ready for us. The drive was chill, Khaled told us wild stories about the region and pointed out random camels (btw, so many camels!!). Petra itself is even more EPIC than pics, seriously, that first view through the Siq gave me chills. My cousin got blisters so Khaled found her plasters at a tiny shop, lifesaver. Wadi Rum in the afternoon was STUNNING, the red sand looks fake. The 4x4 ride was bumpy but I weirdly loved it. Sunset was unreal, wish we had more time. Only downside: felt rushed at Petra (crowds everywhere), but everything else = perfect.

Very good tour, especially if you’re short on time. I went solo, and my driver, Emad, was super chill. We left Amman early (like 6am, yawn) and got to Petra before most of the crowds, which was nice. Petra was BUSY by 10am tho. Emad gave me tips on which trails to skip, so I managed to see the Treasury and the Monastery. Had a quick lunch at a local spot, not fancy but tasty. Wadi Rum… crazy beautiful, sand gets everywhere so wear closed shoes. Jeep driver was a bit quiet but showed me cool rock formations. Wish I could’ve stayed overnight but had to head back. Would def recommend for first-timers.

Petra & Wadi Rum with my boyfriend = perfect day trip. Our driver, Youssef, was sooooo nice and honestly hilarious, sang 90s hits half the drive. He explained a lot about Bedouin life, which was super interesting. Petra is next level, but it was HOT (drink tons of water, trust me). We climbed to the Monastery (not easy, bring good shoes) and the view is insane. Wadi Rum jeep tour was bumpy but fun, and the sunset... oh my god. Youssef had tea ready at the end, which felt cooool. If you can, ask for him!

Family trip with two kids (ages 8 & 11). I was worried kids would get bored, but our guide, Samir, made everything fun! He played riddles with them in the van and got them to spot goats and camels lol. Petra was crowded but we took a quieter path, and Samir told us cool legends about the Treasury. Lunch was simple but kids liked the bread and hummus. Wadi Rum jeep ride = highlight for them, they screamed every time we hit a bump. Only negative: bathrooms at Petra are a bit iffy, bring tissues.

Went with my girlfriend. Early pick up, comfy van with AC (thank god). Our driver, Rami, was friendly but a bit quiet. Petra is MASSIVE, didn’t realize how much walking there’d be, wish I wore better shoes. Saw the Treasury and climbed halfway to the Monastery but ran out of time. Wadi Rum was cooler (temp-wise) and less crowded, which we loved. Jeep driver showed us a secret canyon, felt like Indiana Jones for a sec. Bring snacks, not much food after lunch.
