We had an amazing time at The National Aquarium Abu Dhabi. The layout is beautiful, and the variety of marine life is staggering, walking through the underwater glass tunnel were major highlights. The exhibits are incredibly clean, well-maintained, and highly educational. It’s the perfect escape from the heat and fantastic for all ages, it’s a must-visit when in Abu Dhabi!

Had a really good experience at the National Aquarium Abu Dhabi. The ticketing process through Headout was straightforward and the entry was hassle-free. The aquarium itself is impressive, with a huge variety of marine life and well-maintained exhibits. What stood out most was how immersive and educational the experience was without feeling overcrowded. We spent several hours exploring and still felt like there was more to see. It was pleasant experience, the entry was very fast and we just zoom passed after our code scanning thanks headout .. the explanation given at the reception was to the pint on what was accessible for our all access pass. The recently opened aquarium is situated in a prime location of Al Qana, easily accessible from Abu Dhabi and adjacent to neighboring 5-star hotels. The aquarium is home to thousands of species where visitors can get up close and personal with the aquatic residents and create everlasting memories with their friends and family. With the All Access Pass, you'll enjoy entry to the National Aquarium, as well as special access to the Glass Bridge Walk, the Glass Bottom Boat Tour, and a guided behind-the-scenes tour. This unique combination of experiences allows you to explore the aquarium from every angle, gaining a deeper understanding of the intricate workings of this world-class facility.

Wondering what you get to see? Be mesmerized as you walk through the largest tunnel in the Middle East and admire the ecosystem from the rainforest habitat to the coral reef. The National Aquarium is home to hammerhead sharks and bull sharks and it is the only place you will find them in the whole of UAE. You will also be able to see what is considered the biggest known living snake in the world: Super Snake - a seven-meter reticulated python. The aquarium provides live experiences, community engagement, and preservation of the local biodiversity.

Getting There

By bus

The closest bus stop is Khaleej Al Arabi St / Bus Interchange. It is a quick 4-minute walk to the attraction.

Board buses #21, #22, #101, and more to get you there.

It takes less than 30 minutes to reach Al Qana from Downtown Abu Dhabi. If you’re coming by bus, take route #56 which passes through the Al Maqta region.
