Guided Tours

Juneau Glacier Helicopter Tour with Herbert Glacier Landing

Experience Herbert Glacier from both the air and the ice with a helicopter adventure that includes approximately 30 minutes of scenic flightseeing and a guided glacier walk led by your pilot.

Travel from the Goldbelt Mt. Roberts Tram by included round-trip transportation to the helicopter base, then board a 15-minute flight to Herbert Glacier before returning on a second scenic flight over Juneau’s glacial landscapes.

Land directly on the glacier and spend 20–25 minutes exploring the bright blue ice, taking photos, and learning about glacier travel and the surrounding ice fields.

Enjoy a glacier experience that requires no extensive hiking, making it an easy way to add on-the-ground glacier time to a busy day in Juneau.

Customize your adventure with optional upgrades, including a 40-minute dog sledding experience at a remote dog camp or a private helicopter charter for groups of up to six guests, with a souvenir water bottle included.
