The tour was incredible! Seeing the trail from horseback while navigating downhills and uphills was such a unique experience. We also rode by the ocean and as you hear the waves crashing you continue on your trail. The horses are all really friendly and already know the trail by heart you just gotta know when to pull back for them to stop. This experience is beginner friendly and definetly for those who want a bigger thrill than the utv ride.

The horseback riding at the ranch was one of the most memorable moments. I will never forget with the amazing views that made every penny worth it beautiful horses, and the staff were amazing trail guide was Amy, who was very knowledgeable about the land who made the trail ride great as she gave us a lot of knowledge about the land that we were riding on. The horses are very well taken care of all the grounds were beautiful. It would be a true memory in Hawaii forever.

My whole family did this, kids, cousins, aunts and we all loved it. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable and the horses made it easy for us beginners. THe scenery was amazing. Would absolutely recommend!

The ride takes you through Kaʻaʻawa Valley, famously known as “Jurassic Valley,” with dramatic mountain backdrops and iconic scenery featured in films and shows.

Jurassic Valley is more than just an iconic filming location. It’s also filled with lush landscapes, mountains, and open pastures you will get to explore on this tour.

Guided horseback ride: Ride at a calm, walking pace along forest paths and dirt trails with an experienced guide leading the way.

Immersive paniolo experience: Learn about the lifestyle and traditions of Hawaiian cowboys as you explore ranch lands.

Spectacular scenery: Enjoy panoramic views of the valley, forests, and pastures, including some of Oahu’s most iconic landscapes.

Relaxed adventure: A slow-paced, beginner-friendly ride suitable for riders of most experience levels.

What to bring

Please bring a valid photo ID for check-in.

Closed-toe or closed-heel shoes are required, and we recommend wearing long pants for comfort.

What’s not allowed

Loose or unsafe footwear, such as sandals or flip-flops, is not permitted.

Guests who do not meet the age, height, or weight requirements will not be able to participate.

Accessibility

All riders must be at least 10 years old to join the tour.

The tour also has certain height & weight requirements. Participants need to be at least 4’6” tall and weigh no more than 230 pounds (104 kg).

Guests with back problems or expecting mothers are not advised to join this tour for safety reasons.

Additional information

Mandatory check-in is required 45 mins before your scheduled tour time at the Ticket Office for group departure.

A liability waiver must be signed by all guests to participate in the experience.

Helmets will be provided and are required for all riders.

Children 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

The two-hour tour includes training and a safety briefing.

Your voucher will be emailed to you shortly.
