Step into the world of Helen Levitt, one of the great chroniclers of 20th-century New York. Known for her ability to capture fleeting everyday moments, Levitt’s photographs turn city streets into a stage where life unfolds unscripted. Your ticket gives you access to this special exhibition with a special audio guide and let expert commentary lead you through Levitt’s work, insights into Levitt’s methods and themes as you move from one image to another. Instead of standing before silent photographs, you’ll walk through the streets of Harlem and the Bronx with Levitt herself as your invisible guide. Her lens focused on children’s play, neighborhood gatherings, and the overlooked gestures of daily life, revealing humor, tenderness, and sometimes melancholy in the ordinary.

KBr Flama

KBr FLAMA’25 KBr Fundación MAPFRE presents the fifth edition of its annual event showcasing the emerging talent of the new generation of photographers who are beginning their professional careers after completing their training at Barcelona’s leading photography schools: Elisava – Barcelona School of Design and Engineering, Escola d’Art i Superior de Disseny Serra i Abella, Idep Barcelona, and IEFC. This year, the exhibition brings together the works of Bernat Erra (Barcelona, 2003), Irina Cervelló (Martorell, 2001), Abril Coudougnan (Perpinyà, 1999), and Patrick Martin (Stockport, England, 1996), selected by a jury composed of Javier Martín, Arianna Rinaldo, and María Santoyo. All of them share a critical and sensitive gaze on the construction of memory, whether intimate, collective, or territorial.
