The size of it is unbelievable. I can't imagine living in such a compact spaces for months. Cooking for that many people has to be a masterpiece of organisation.

Extremely well laid out and was amazing to speak with the guides that were Veterans and had served in Growler and Intrepid during their Navy careers. The space shuttle display was also amazing, and every display had a personal touch talking about the people who served and their personal photos and stories. Overall an outstanding place to visit! I plan to return!

A fantastic museum for families! My kids loved exploring the aircraft carrier, submarines, and planes. The exhibits are interactive, engaging, and easy for children to enjoy. We spent several hours there and never got bored. Highly recommended for anyone visiting New York with kids.

We had such a great experience visiting the Intrepid Museum with family! Using Headout made the entire process so easy and convenient. Our entry was incredibly smooth, and we had no issues getting in, which made the start of our visit completely stress-free. Once inside, we had so much fun exploring the museum together. There was so much to see and experience, and it ended up being a really fun and memorable family outing. I would definitely recommend both the Intrepid Museum and using Headout for an easy, hassle-free experience!

It was the second time we have been to Intrepid and again it did not disappoint. Coupled with Fleet Week and all the associated stands, our time there passed too quickly. Although the weather was not too great, rain after all the sunshine, there was plenty to do inside the ship. It was wonderful to see the tall ships along the quayside. Everybody was so friendly.

It was my birthday and the Summitt exceeded my expectations! Love it. The silver balls wowed me! We are looking forward to return next year.

This curated journey begins aboard the Intrepid, a floating monument to naval ingenuity, and culminates in a waterborne tour of Manhattan's ever-evolving silhouette.

Stand on a piece of WWII history

The Intrepid Museum, a decommissioned Essex-class aircraft carrier, stands as a testament to mid-20th-century military design. Its massive flight deck, once a launch pad for naval operations, now hosts a collection of aircraft that spans aviation history. From the gantries of Cape Canaveral to the lunar modules themselves, each element represents a pinnacle of design under the most challenging constraints.

A breezy cruise through NYC

The 90-minute Hudson River cruise offers a floating vantage point of New York's architectural evolution. The journey passes the glass curtain walls of Hudson Yards, and Little Island, a modern interpretation of public parkland. Ellis Island's Beaux-Arts structures stand in contrast, their ornate facades a reminder of America's immigrant foundations. The cruise's zenith arrives with a 10-minute sojourn at the Statue of Liberty. This copper colossus, an engineering marvel of its time, serves as both a symbolic and literal beacon, its neo-classical form a bridge between Old World artistry and New World promise.
