My experience was beyond my highest expectations. This was a dream destination for me. The degree of preservation there is amazing! I had an injury and struggled to get around easily but it was worth the struggle. I hope I'll be able to return someday to see some of the sights I didn't get to. There's so much to see!!! I loved doing this at my own pace, and having time to linger in areas of particular interest. Thank you to all those hard workers for making my visit and this site so special!

Die Buchung hat super geklappt, es gab keinen überteuerten Aufpreis. Schön wäre es gewesen, wenn ich beim Vorzeigen des Tickets auch einen Lageplan erhalten hätte. Den gab es nämlich, ich selber haben ihn aber nicht irgendwo liegen sehen, aber eine andere Besucherin hatte einen. Die Ausgrabungsstätte ist ähnlich wie Pompeji- nur in kleiner und im großen und ganzen weniger pompös. Die Bauweise und Aufteilung der Häuser ähnlich. In 3 Stunden gemütlich zu durchqueren. Auch auf eigene Faust,wenn mann Atmosphäre schnuppern möchte und die Anzeigentafeln mit Erklärungen auf Englisch versteht. Wer mehr Infos möchte sollte sich einen Guide buchen.

Audioguide was good. As the ruins are in a pit and no breeze can be felt in there, it felt like being in a frying pan ( I was there in July). Therefore it was good to have a small area with trees and loungers to sit and rest in the shadow. There was also a water tap, but the water probably wasn't potable, so bring your own water. The area to explore is much smaller than Pompeii, so it could fit better to those who are not interested to spend a long time exploring the ruins - in comparison, Pompeii is really huge. Some very well preserved mosaics and wall paintings. Less people than in Pompeii.

The historical site is incredible, and the experience was a blast for me. Highly recommend it. The skip-the-line wasn't really necessary, since it was not very crowded.

It was quite straightforward we did not have to queue. Didn't realise we had to download the app though to get the tickets but luckily it wasn't too busy when we arrived and the guy at the entrance was helpful

We hebben de twee parken op 1 dag bezocht dus dat was best veel. Je ziet veel overeenkomsten. De arena en het amfitheater in Pompei vond ik erg indrukwekkend.Mooi opgezet.Weer een ervaring rijker.

This experience is wheelchair and pram/stroller accessible. Entry is free for people with disabilities and an accompanying adult.

Dogs are allowed into the venue, without restriction of breed or size. However, they must be kept on a leash and/or with muzzle (the latter is obligatory for all breeds and opportunities provided by current regulations). Pet parents must have bags to collect any droppings.

In the Antiquarium, inside the Padiglione della Barca and in the domus with mosaic floors, access is allowed only to dogs carried in their arms or in the appropriate carrier.
