Take a 75-minute guided go-kart tour through five Tokyo areas, with photos and fun costumes adding to the street-sightseeing experience.
Getting started
Make your way to 4-chōme-25 Yotsuya, Shinjuku City, Tokyo 160-0004, the starting and ending location for the tour. Before setting off, receive safety instructions and meet your experienced tour guide. Once the tour begins, follow the guide through Tokyo’s streets on the scheduled route.
What to expect
Shinjuku
The tour begins by taking you through Shinjuku, one of the key areas on the route. From your street-legal go-kart, experience the city while following your guide and the planned tour route. The 75-minute format gives you time to move through several well-known parts of Tokyo during one continuous experience.
Harajuku
Continue toward Harajuku as the drive takes you through another distinctive Tokyo neighbourhood. Your experienced tour guide leads the way while you travel through the city by go-kart. The route keeps the focus on experiencing Tokyo from the streets rather than visiting individual attractions on foot.
Shibuya Crossing
The route includes Shibuya Crossing, one of Tokyo’s most recognisable city sights. Pass through the area as part of the guided drive and experience the streets of central Tokyo from a street-legal go-kart. This is one of the five named areas included in the tour route.
Omotesando
Next, cruise through Omotesando, another named stop on the route. The tour combines sightseeing and driving as you move between Tokyo’s well-known districts with your experienced guide leading the way. Follow the planned route while taking in the city from a different perspective.
Yoyogi Park
The route continues to Yoyogi Park before the tour finishes. Across the full 75 minutes, photos are taken during the experience so you can keep a record of your ride. Fun costumes are also available, adding a playful element to your time on the road and giving you another way to personalise the experience.
For guests who cannot drive or do not have a valid driving license, the two-seater go-kart option lets you participate as a passenger with a family member or friend. This option allows you to join the tour together while the route and guided experience remain the same.
Wrapping up
After completing the route through Shinjuku, Harajuku, Shibuya Crossing, Omotesando, and Yoyogi Park, return to the starting location at 4-chōme-25 Yotsuya. The same point serves as both the start and end of the 75-minute tour.
