On this busy Friday Halloween night in Tokyo, numerous pedestrians offered high-fives and waves, conveying a sense of shared enthusiasm for the experience. A firm grip on the steering wheel was required to prevent the kart from veering if it struck a rock or bottomed out on uneven ground. The karts maintained a low idle without stalling and performed reliably, with firm suspension enabling precise cornering. The tires appeared new, and the brakes responded promptly and consistently. Staff remained attentive throughout; if any rider was separated by a traffic-light change, assistance was provided immediately. Midway through the tour the group paused while staff captured photographs on a scenic bridge. Their professionalism and genuine enthusiasm left a highly favorable impression. We were made very welcome, and straight away, even though it was a fun experience, safety was the number 1 priority. Once the briefings were out the way, it was on to our trusty speeds amd away we went. A great driving route, over bridges and through the high risers......being able to dress up made it more fun.....who cares what people think 😀

Overall the experience was incredible. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. We did the two-hour tour and the views were awesome. The crew was extremely professional and made we got some good pictures in with awesome back drops.

Seriously the BEST thing I have ever done and that too in SWAG. It was just the two of us - my son n myself . A day after the Typhoon here in Tokyo . Clear blue skies - gentle winds . A Pilot car and a car at the back . Due to public holidays hardly any traffic . Tokyo bay stop was the highlight . Go Karts were awesome . The staff were super friendly - great briefing prior to the activity which completely put us at ease. 2 hours just flew by like minutes - most memorable 🤗 . We owned the STREETS of Tokyo 🙌🥇

Important documents

You must have original hardcopies of all three documents:

Driving license from your country of origin (no temporary or paper licenses).

International Driving Permit (IDP) issued under the Geneva Convention 1949 (must be issued in your own country by an officially registered authority).

Passport

Important Notes on IDPs:

IDPs must be issued by an approved organization in your country (e.g., AAA in the US, CAA in Canada).

Vienna Convention 1968 IDPs are NOT accepted in Japan.

The IDP must be in booklet form, not a digital or paper format.

If you cannot present a hard copy of your IDP on the day of the activity, you cannot participate and will not receive a refund.

Visitors must obtain the IDP before traveling—you cannot get a valid IDP in Japan.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure they have valid documents. Failure to do so will result in denial of participation without a refund.

Visitors from Switzerland, Germany, France, Belgium, Monaco, Taiwan, and Estonia, you must provide:

Driving license from your country of origin (no temporary or paper licenses).

Official Japanese translation of your license, issued by JAF (Japan Automobile Federation)

Passport

US Military Personnel, you may drive using:

SOFA License (USFJ Form 4EJ).

OR a Combination of Active Military ID and State-Side Driver’s License.

Visitors from China, Brazil, and Indonesia cannot drive in Japan, as these countries are not part of the 1949 Geneva Convention.

What’s not allowed

Alcohol consumption before the tour is strictly prohibited.

Long skirts, high heel shoes, and sandals are not allowed.

Infants and children under 18 years old are not permitted to participate or sit on laps; infant seats are not available.

Accessibility

Pregnant travelers are not recommended to participate.
