Gran experiencia para descubrir el Valle del Duero En general, la experiencia en el "Tour clásico guiado por el valle del Duero con crucero de 1 hora por Pinhão, almuerzo tradicional y degustaciones de vino" valió completamente la pena. El transporte fue de primera. La carretera tiene bastantes curvas, pero nuestro chófer, Thiago, demostró un gran profesionalismo y manejó cada tramo con absoluto aplomo, transmitiendo mucha tranquilidad durante todo el recorrido. Por su parte, nuestro guía, Miguel, fue extraordinario: sumamente simpático y con un conocimiento enciclopédico sobre la región y sus vinos, regalándonos datos e historias fascinantes a lo largo del día. En cuanto a las actividades del itinerario: Visitas y catas en las bodegas: Estuvieron bastante bien organizadas. Aunque el trato se sintió por momentos un poco impersonal y apresurado debido al flujo de visitantes, la calidad de los vinos compensó la prisa. Almuerzo: La comida en sí dejó algo que desear, ya que tanto el pescado como el lomo de cerdo resultaron bastante secos y de baja calidad. Sin embargo, lo compensaron con creces con la bebida: fueron sumamente generosos sirviendo tanto vino blanco como tinto en gran abundancia durante la comida. Paseo en barco: El crucero de una hora desde Pinhão ofreció una perspectiva panorámica preciosa de los viñedos y del río. En conclusión, la relación calidad-precio es insuperable por todo lo que incluye el paquete. Intentar hacer este mismo recorrido por cuenta propia no solo habría resultado más caro, sino que habría sumado el estrés de conducir y coordinar todo las visitas. Muy recomendado.

Had an amazing Douro Valley day tour, and both our driver and guide were named Luis (easy to remember!). Our driver Luis was fantastic - safe and timely driving throughout the day, and he handled the winding roads really well. We stopped in Régua for a quick break, then visited Caves Santa Marta - Vinhos e Derivados CRL for tastings followed by lunch. After that we did a cruise on the Douro River, and our last stop was Quinta de São Luiz for more tastings. Our guide Luis made the whole experience. He's clearly a history buff and shared so much interesting info about the region throughout the day, all while being genuinely funny and easy to talk to. He was attentive to the whole group and made sure everyone was taken care of. At the end of the tour, he came around to each of us individually to see if we had questions and to give personalized recommendations for things to do in Porto. Highly recommend this tour if you're visiting Porto and want to see the Douro Valley!

Our tour guide Manwella was fabulous!!! Friendly, informative and overalll great. Wineries and cruise were very different but very good . Scenery in the Duro valley was gorgeous! The meal that was included was delicious . Overall the tour was fantastic!

First of all, as you see in the attached photo, pick up and drop off points are given mistakenly. We almost missed the tour! Thanks to our guide Raquel who waited for us to arrive at the actual meeting point Largo de Lapa after several conversations. The tour overall was nice, though. We didn't like the lunch, it was less than expected. Vineyards are beatiful especially from the boat tour. We had a bad experience at the Maroccos vineyard where the elderly owner talked too much and out of context (while under the hot sun), and later unbelievably got extremely angry with his coworker and fired him in front of us. That is absolutely unprofessional. I recommend to cancel your collaboration with him, there are lots of other options.

Strongly recommend. Our guide was Milena, the best guide ever and sweetest and most helpful person. During trip she made sure to tell us everything that was outside the private mini bus window. We really connected with all people on tour thanks to her. Then we visited the first winery and had a great tour there before first tasting. Then was lunch which was 2 course meal and dessert with unlimited wine refills for an hour included in price! Then we had some time to ourselves right before going to a viewpoint, before second winary. There, a 15 minute introduction to the wines we were about to consume and after an hour long boat trip with even more wine or champagne. Must do when in Porto and make sure u ask for Milena!
