Tromsø Reindeer Feeding & Sami Culture Small-Group Guided Tour

Discover Sami culture at a camp near Tromsø, combining traditional storytelling, a guided camp visit, hands-on reindeer feeding, and professional photos.

Meet your guide in Tromsø and travel to a Sami camp about 15 minutes from the city center. The 2.5-hour experience is conducted in English and is limited to a maximum of 45 guests at the camp at one time. On arrival, your personal guide leads you through the camp in a museum-style format, moving between different stations.

Explore the camp with your guide while learning about Sami traditions and ways of life through stories shared by Sámi hosts. You'll then get close to the Arctic reindeer, which the operator notes are known for their particularly large antlers, and have the opportunity to feed them yourself.
