This place is as billed. special. The entry was easy. The parking free. The building and grounds well maintained. For flower lovers , the outside gardens were lovely but the flowers highlight were the original , highly artistic ,fresh arrangements , that dressed every room. They themselves were spectacular . The history of the chateau was also well laid out . Would highly recommend .

There was no line at our arrival time. We purchased tickets easily online on the day of our visit. The gardens were lovely. Beautiful flowers inside and out. Appreciated English version of information. The booklet explaining each room was very informative.

bonjour, nous avons passé un très beau moment dans ce château avec des jardins splendides et tout ça avant de rentrer dans le château qui livre ses pièces bien meublées. nous y sommes restés plus de trois heures en comptant la pause déjeuner.

Interface simple d’utilisation, offre de billet conforme au prix public, validité des billets jusqu’en 2018 (incroyable!). Aucune contrainte horaire de visite contrairement à ce que propose le site officiel du chateau de Chambord.

Ein wirklich schöner Ort mit einer beeindruckenden Archtitektur und Geschichte. Der kurze Film am Anfang hat einen sehr gut auf die Räumlichkeiten und den geschichtlichen Hintergrund vorbereitet. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Trés beau château, parc en mauvais état dû à la secheresse actuel, manque de bancs dans le parc pour se reposer. Picque nique autorisé mais pas vu de poubelles donc surtout n’oubliez pas de repartir avec vos déchets. Prix avec parking payant (21€ +8€) un peu cher

Une première pour moi dans ce magnifique endroit...chambord est un lieux magique 🧙 malgré une grosse sécheresse cette année où les jardins sont malheureusement pas verts.. Une expérience unique grâce au personnel qui est bienveillant..

Los dos castillos visitados fueron espectaculares cada uno con sus particularidades El de Chambord . Su interior destacar el vídeo presentación en francés però totalmente entendible. El jardín debido a la calor no lucía como se esperaba pero lo compensa con creces el castillo. El parking vale 8 euros Se puede visitar 3-4 horas El de chenonceaux . Sus jardines superan con creces al castillo Solo por verlos vale la pena acceder. El parking es gratuito El castillo reúne su encanto por supuesto y se distribuye a parte del complejo central en pabellones el de la ciencia o la farmacia. A parte jardines de plantas medicinales y huerto muy bien cuidado con difusores de agua tanto para el jardín como para los visitantes. Muy recomendables ambos Y con la entrada en el móvil es muy fácil acceder sin colas en taquilla Eso sí si quieres autoguia si debes comprar en la taquilla antes de acceder al recinto

Château de Chambord

King François I built the Château de Chambord after his victory in the Battle of Marignan in 1515. It was constructed not as a residence, but as the symbol of his power and the French Renaissance. The castle is located inside an enormous park of 5,000 hectares and contains about 400 rooms, over 80 staircases, 365 fireplaces, and plenty of towers, high ceilings and pointed domes.

A major highlight of your visit here would be the famous double helix staircase. Inspired by Leonardo da Vinci, the open staircase is designed in a way that you can go up one side without meeting or making eye contact with someone who is descending on the other side! Your ticket also gives you access to more than 60 rooms open to the public and to temporary exhibitions (according to the cultural program of the time). Moreover, you can explore the castle's grand gardens, home to a vivid range of flora and fauna, at your own pace.

Château Chenonceau

Visit Château Chenonceau, an elegant white castle built on the piers of an old mill in the famous Loire Valley region. Chenonceau is a stunning representation of late Gothic and early Renaissance architecture, featuring a long gallery bridge that spans over the Cher river.

Also known as the “Ladies’ Château” because of the notorious women who built, decorated, restored and maintained it throughout the centuries, Chenonceau boasts a fascinating royal history that dates back to the 13th century. Feel like true royalty as you stroll through the castles’ rooms, which are lavishly decorated with exquisite tapestries, paintings, and furniture. Round off your visit with a walk through the extensive royal gardens alongside the Cher river, featuring a maze, a 16th-century farm, a carriage gallery, and a vegetable and flower garden.

Château of Azay-le-Rideau

The Château d’Azay-le-Rideau is a fine example of the blend of 16th-century French architectural styles in the beautiful Loire Valley. The castle is surrounded by 8 hectares of English-style gardens and looks like something straight out of a fairy tale.

Resting atop its own island in the Indre River, this legendary château has been here since the reign of Francis I. It was built between 1518 and 1527 and has recently gone through a major restoration to reinstate its slate roofing and early 16th-century framework. While you’re here, check out the castle’s richly furnished rooms, the intricately decorated staircase, and the stunning ceiling decorations. Outside, stroll through the 19th-century English-style gardens and wait for a bluebird to land on your shoulder.

Baby carriers with metal frames are not authorized in the rooms and have to be left in storage. Strollers can be borrowed at the entrance (depending on availability).

Toilets with changing table and bottle warmers are accessible near the reception area close to the parking lots as well as inside the château.

There are free lockers available at the château entrance (except in case of contrary governmental provisions) for the safekeeping of your metallic baby carriers, backpacks, helmets, and other articles.

Certain objects, like hiking poles and sharp objects, are not admitted in the château and must be placed in the lockers in accordance with visit regulations.

Under France’s Vigipirate Plan, objects with dimensions superior to 55cm x 35cm x 20cm must also be deposited in the lockers after having been inspected.

The National Estate of Chambord will not be held liable for theft or damage to any personal objects deposited in a locker.

Pay for your parking as soon as you arrive in the terminals provided for that purpose (single charge for the day).

Do not hesitate to take your visitor’s leaflet at the château entrance so as to see where you are and where are you going.

You will have access to free WiFi within the premises.

In the autumn and winter, it is strongly recommended that you wear warm clothes.
