The full Bruny Island Cruise, excellent from beginning to end. 5 stars for the cruise and 0 stars for Headout. I will not use Headout to book anything ever again. Communication by phone is impossible, the non-person can not understand what you say. When finally I got a real person, she did not have the best English. An email said to come in half hour, had not arrived after 2 hours!! The next email after another phone call took 3 days!!! If it wasn't for the excellent staff at Bruny Island Cruises I would not have known what was happening.

Mick, the boat operator was extremely proficient. He gave us a great play in the Southern Ocean, up and over the swell, a few splashes, all accompanied with his very entertaining commentary. He manoeuvred the boat very close to seals, through a cave arch and stopped so we could watch 4 Albatross squabble with a seal who was trying to eat his fish in peace. The other crew member ?Andrew was extremely knowledgeable and his commentary was interesting and entertaining. A great day !

The Bruny island discovery tour was absolutely fantastic. The guides were very helpful and funny. We saw lots of wildlife including fur seals resting on the rocks. We weren't sure what to expect but it was fantastic. I'd highly recommend anyone considering coming to Bruny Island to do the Discovery boat tour.

Definitely a must see for up close look at the beautiful nature of Tasmania. Length of the tour is very dependent on weather. Our tour was shorter because of rough sea but the tour gave us a voucher for lunch or the gift shop as a result so they were proactive about it. Despite the shorter tour it was still breathtaking.
