A nice evening boat trip around Amsterdam's canals with a friendly skipper. The Winter Lights themselves were a bit underwhelming. We were spoilt by the Lumiere in London a few years ago and by the light show on the lake at Latitude festival.

The Crew and the Captain were very helpful and friendly. Cruise was good but a shame we missed some due to high amount of traffic. Mulled wine was a welcome treat in the cold weather.

Ho partecipato alla crociera di 75 minuti sui canali di Amsterdam in occasione dell’Amsterdam Light Festival prenotata tramite Headout, e l’esperienza è stata davvero splendida! La barca era molto carina, ben riscaldata e sorprendentemente spaziosa, perfetta per godersi il percorso in totale comfort. Le ampie vetrate lungo tutto il perimetro permettevano di ammirare le installazioni luminose senza perdere neanche un dettaglio. Nonostante la pioggia, la visuale è rimasta ottima: gli sbrinatori e il sistema di ventilazione hanno tenuto i vetri sempre puliti e trasparenti. L’atmosfera a bordo era piacevole e rilassante, accompagnata da una guida audio in olandese e inglese che raccontava curiosità e spiegava le opere del festival in modo chiaro e interessante. Nel complesso è stata un’esperienza davvero bella, ben organizzata e perfetta per vivere il fascino di Amsterdam illuminata. La consiglio assolutamente!

We were supposed to have unlimited drinks but we only had one drink of hot chocolate diluted with water. The overall experience and comments from the driver weee nice but only provided in English and not in Nederland. Driver however was driving super safely and super gently.

was a nice experience; great to see Amsterdam from the water, complete different perspective. However, the "lightshow" was a bit poor, there were no toilet on board and no chance to get water.
